Below is my original review I wrote for the company I managed to get a response on the 31st of December saying my item has been shipped but received tracking on the 3rd of January I was also refunded the shipping and cost of one pigment Leading up to that I must have been dealing with the old hidden cosmetic s team made up of teenagers because I received highly unprofessional responses On the 4th of January I believe there was a take over and my complaint was dealt with by an adult who apologised and then asked me politely to edit my review as the issue has been resolved this itself is quite cheeky however I agreed as I felt all small business should be given the opportunity to grow Now as a school teacher I went back to work after the holidays and have not had the time to do so I have now received 5 direct messages on Instagram asking me to amend my horrible factual review So here I am after being hounded My honest opinion of hidden cosmetics is that it has a long way to go before it actually rights any wrongs and establishes itself as a professional company and they still need to work on how they are communicating with their customers ORIGINAL REVIEWBuyers beware this is literally the worst and most unprofessional company to ever purchase anything from I wish I read this online review prior to purchasing my items 3 MONTHS AGO I understand that the magic chrome pigments takes about 1-2 months to despatch because they have elves creating this on the MOON But I ve now been awaiting 3 months and they do not respond to emails or dms If you write a comment on their photos asking for a response they will delete the comment and then tell you not to write any comments on the photos lol yet they will get around to solving your problem I repeat do not purchase anything from this shoddy nonsensical business

had to wait 5 months and fight to get my order
I placed my order in August and finally received my order five months later I also got the shipment fee reimbursed The products are decent quality Unfortunately it took FIVE MONTHS for me to get the order and it only happened after they ignored my multiple emails I was informed that there s a new team since October but my mails from November and December were still ignored after I found myself forced to leave a comment explaining my situation under their photos on Insta and Fb my comments were then deleted and to leave an opinion on Trustpilot This last step seems to have hit a spot as I got contacted on Instagram immediately after and got my package sent that very day they still claim they had already sent it in JULY which is interesting as I placed my order on August 5th In general the products are ok but to me definitely not worth the time nerves effort and being lied to I will definitely not be placing any more orders with this company

Update I did receive my refund today which was really nice I have been blocked from their accounts though I wish things would have gone better I do love how the makeup looks online I wish I would have been able to try it but I m just happy to have the money back in my account original Terrible Absolutely HORRIBLE I ordered in October in 2018 it is now mid July and I have received nothing I ve email probably 20 times directly messaged them even more They always say they will get back to you then NOTHING They never once said anything was on back order not until after I had placed my order and they had taken the money out of my account I m sure I ll never see the product or my money Just avoid it I m sure the makeup is beautiful but I WILL NEVER FIND OUT So beyond irritated with their garbage customer service

I order the pigments on Sept 24 and have emailed them at least 3 times and messaged them on Instagram And have not gotten an email back but they re constantly posting on Instagram Within hours of posting this and several exchanges on Instagram I was issued a refund almost instantly

It s been 2 and a half months where s my products
I ordered 2 products November 5th I ve still not received my order they said they sent it out finally a month later then told me to wait 2 weeks for my products still nothing I sent an email wondering where my products were and they never responded then I sent another email wondering about my products and if I could have some tracking they sent me and email just yesterday saying they resent my products back out still no tracking on my email so I assume I may not get my items judging by these comments I mean it s been 2 and a half months I m really worried and very disappointed because the products look nice and I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing it looked like reputable company but these days you really need to thoroughly research I m a single mother this was my x mas present to myself since I m a makeup artist and with lots of clientele I would have brought them lots of business had I not been going through this now wondering if I ll even get my items I will change my review if I receive my items if not I m getting help from my bank to dispute my order I suggest anyone else wh does not receive their orders do the same as I m reading reviews and hundreds have been scammed

updated review So I posted an extremely negative review based on the experience of my daughter with this company I suggested they were scammers because their ability to take money without any attempt being made to actually send the product suggested exactly that When I posted my review my daughter did similar we understandably got a very prompt response Our comments on socials were deleted The people at Hidden Cosmetics sent some intially rude responses to me and then they became more polite and professional in tone They managed to get the order to the post office the next day despite the four month lead time I was given photos and tracking information and prepared to wait for it to arrive However the company has since approached me several times asking me to take down my initial review When I responded that I would wait until the product had arrived before doing so their response became vaguely threatening suggesting that i had slandered them and that the review was now dishonest even though it was 100 true at the time of writing I would argue that it is more deceptive to remove my review until the problem has been resolved To imagine that the replacement review given my experience was going to be flattering is frankly delusional Our overall experience was not good Product is beautiful and while not exactly what she ordered that element has been handled terrifically and I have no issue with that Customer service on the other hand is absolutely horrendous and if I was asked if i would recommend this company to a friend the answer would be a firm no To the company as a fellow small business owner I don t always get it right When i have issues I immediately apologise and try to rectify the situation My communication with clients is always professional in tone and not ever remotely aggressive This is an area you could improve on Greatly I also think an improvement in your systems is needed obviously and perhaps if this is overwhelming more staff Even with all these things I know things can still go wrong however the onus is on YOU the company to accept responsibility where it lies and fix the problem if possible Two stars only becuase I am assured the product is good

Took a very long time Bad customer services Beautiful products
I ordered in February and received my item on 9th April I ordered the 1982 and poisoned grape pigments The packaging is lovely and a little goes a very long way I m very impressed with the colour texture packaging etc What I m not impressed with is the length of time it takes to arrive when the company is based in the UK Nor am I impressed with the customer services I emailed and private messaged on Instagram a number of times because I had never been told how long my order would be and I was growing concerned at the time it was taking especially with the amount I paid for them Whoever was emailing me back had a very snotty stuck up up yours kind of attitude which infuriated me While I do like the products I will not order again If you re happy to wait up to 3 months for them - by all means order You ll be happy with the products

Shipping Issues
Originally I planned to bash the company but I won t I placed an order in November and received it in January I emailed the company several times and they made sure to respond They sent me all the information from shipping to include copies and labels They did their part It s just shipping takes entirely way too long I order from China and it doesn t even take that long and it s farther away from me I wish they could fix their shipping some way I received everything I ordered and the colors are beautiful Just needs their shipping fixed

ISSUES WITH RECEIVING ITEM
The worst experience from a company I have ever had Products ordered on June 14th by my brother for a present Email sent to the company on July 6th asking for confirmation of postage as nothing had been received Email response advising that the products hadn t been posted yet and would be this week Still today no products Emails have been sent no response Instagram DMs and Tweets have been sent no response Any comments made on posts asking for a response via DM are either deleted or the post itself is deleted 53 96 has been lost to this company I will be reporting to Trading Standards and recommend that anyone else in the same situation do the same I have tried to be reasonable and waited a longer period of time than usual I have screenshots of all comments that have been deleted UPDATE after them finally responding they claimed that a new member of staff had missed 5 6 parcels that were to be sent out and that I would receive a tracking number on Monday I asked on Tuesday for the tracking number as it wasn t received I was told that they would check this the following morning I messaged them numerous times today with no response and only received a response when I advised that I would be reporting to trading standards I was instantly told that I had been refunded I have asked for proof of postage since then as I don t believe that they have actually posted out any of my items and they have dodged the question everytime If you have ordered from this company and have not received your products PLEASE request a refund They are either scammers or completely incompetent at running their business I have never in my life known such poor business Would also like to note that their tone in messages changed with me once I advised I would be reporting to trading standards The Consumer Contracts Information Cancellation and Additional Charges Regulations 2013state that goods purchased online or by phone should be delivered within 30 days of the orderbeing confirmed with the trader FURTHER UPDATE I received a message from the company today to advise that they had sent a gift package as an apology for the experience I ve had with the team I checked my mail and I have received my products that I had originally ordered and had already received a refund for these I am very thankful that I received these items albeit that I shouldn t have had the experience in the first place I love the products that I have received
