ZERO ZERO THIS IS A GENUINE REVIEW how do the people in the back office even exist I have raise complaint after complaint and they deliberately give me the run around for at least 6months of my time They do not have the capability of running a clown show let alone deal with individual concerns The Telephone banking was a joke and still is I have cancelled your online telephone banking as you are incapable dealing with concerns I am still awaiting monies to be returned to my account from a dispute so where is it I have provided all of the information that you requested and still waiting for them to return the funds to my bank account Despite my email account being hacked they still want to send bank statements to my email address and use my email account for correspondence even though I have informed them that I do no want correspondence via emails anymore because of the data breach very difficult to communicate with the language barrier never seem to speak to anyone in the uk outsourced and unfortunately there is a breakdown in communications when dealing with these people Do not trust the individuals either I do not believe they do the job to high standards but keep you in constant trauma bonds

Awful customer service
Awful customer service have tried to close my account several times and keep receiving letters saying I still owe them money after calling the first time i was told i owe 1 02 which i paid immediately have since received letters and emails saying i STILL owe money to HSBC - despite having now called another 3 times and being told on the phone this in incorrect and the account should now be closed Each time I still receive either a letter or email asking me to call them - having now phoned 4 separate times and each time the customer service agent has been extremely unhelpful and unable to tell me why I keep getting these emails letters or as to why my account has not yet been shut despite requesting to close this account on 28th March Does not help that the customer service agents on the phone are based outside of the UK In India I believe and seem to struggle to understand my simple request I have a bank account with Halifax and Metro - neither of which have caused any issues like this

So transfered 50 to my daughters hsbc account not knowing she had closed the account tried through my bank barclays to get it back my daughters tried contacting hsbc but can t seem to help robbing banks I want my 50 quid back

Had an issue with roof damage needed help advice Phoned and guy was very polite but as no winds had been experienced above 55mph in my area then couldn t assist - down to lack of maintenance Where did that one come from in the small print How do you maintain roof tiles We ve just been through some of the worst storms for years Didn t ask for specific details nor would they even take a look Thank you for your help when in need - something I would have thought insurance companies were there for Live and learn eh Keep paying the premium

hsbc - no i am not surprised to see that you only get 5 stars from only 7 of your customers while 80 will give you less than one if they could the only reason you have any customers is - because it is so difficult to move banks today you have stole from me 3700 in unpaid interest rates from SAVING account - i am not making a mistake and i did read all the small print - they really did - they can not explain how it has happen and not putting it right - they employ badly trained advisors whom have no authority to do anything - they handle complaints in the most shabby way - you wont be able to get them to confirm the content of a conversation of give you time scale - for me it is the f o s for my next step before i take them to court CHARLIE YOU ARE PATHETIC - dont copy and paste a message to me - you are only making things worst for you bad bank

Totally useless The other day I put a review on Trustpilot re the fact that I was not able to discuss an issue with a real person at HSBC Today they posted this reply which I find equally unhelpful -Hi Paul thank you for taking your time to leave us a review To get through to myself or a colleague straight away can you please message us on any of our social media profiles Instagram X Facebook so that we can answer any questions that you have We really do appreciate your feedback and we hope to hear from you soon - TomI don t use social media to communicate important issues I have a phone and what I want from HSBC is a phone number where a real person answers Come on Tom HSBC it s all very well saying you appreciate my feedback trouble is you sound just like the Post Office managers and lawyers with their empty apologies Just give me someone real to actually talk to

Don t save with HSBC
I opened a new savings account Money was quickly transferred into it from another account by arrangement Still waiting for it to pop up in the app more than a week later so unable to top it up All HSBC did was raise a complaint meaning further weeks of delay

I have used HSBC live chat several times and have found it very frustrating and very unhelpful Option after option and never actually getting an answer Very disappointed with this service Used other Live Chat services that are much better please improve HSBC

Awful Stay away from them
I was a long time customer on HSBC now I am looking to move of them Costumer service absolutely useless on phone on chat Don t applying for any card it s horrible experience and If you ask them for help can t get any correct answer 03457 404 404 waste of time to call and if you ask to call back it s not happeningAll reviews the same answer not suprise STAY AWAY FROM THEM
