I owned a 2013 elantra with 61 000
I owned a 2013 elantra with 61 000 miles on it and decided to take it in for recall work the engine had a little tick to it but it was driveable so since it fell under the guidelines of the class action lawsuit for premature detonation of the engine I asked them to look at it Four days later after getting horrible customer service I decided I was gonna pick it up and trade it in my car was not driveable when I went to get it with no more miles on it than when I dropped it off I was told the mechanic looked at it and verified it needed an engine Ended up getting a loaner that they tried to charge me for when I brought it back when I was told that wouldn t cost me anything I ended up having to partially pay for a repair that fell under a class action lawsuit and was told I hope to never see you again when I picked my car up Wish granted I drove that car 20 miles and traded it in on a newer vehicle at a very good dealership that actually cares about it s customer will never purchase a hyundai ever again can t trust a company that doesn t stand by its product

Do not lease a car from Hyundai
I leased my fourth Sonata and it will be my last No issues until the last 6 months I have always had autopay setup for the 15th of each month Over the past 6 months Hyundai finance start calling on the morning of the 14th through the 15th demanding payment as many as 10 calls a day I have told them repeatedly I have autopay they apologize and start their harassments all over again the next month

Worst Service Hyundai Genesis
I have owned a 2007 Santa Fe 2009 Genesis 2018 Genesis 2020 Veloster and a 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy Hyundai service has never been great but it is at an all time low How many manufacturers would offer free maintenance then suggest you take your new vehicle to an independent garage for the first oil change because they don t have an appointment for the foreseeable future How good is a 10yr 100 000 mile warranty if you can t get the vehicle looked at Acura Lexus and Infinity all have separate dealerships and service departments Not Genesis Toyota s service looks like Rolls Royce compared to Hyundai Genesis

We purchased a 2020 Hyundai Palisade 4 years ago what a nightmare We have had issues with oil consumption we were given the run around by our service department till the car was out of warranty Than they replaced the motor now all everything else is breaking due to the motor leaking oil all over the motor Now it our responsibility to repair all these issue They want to act like this my fault and should be happy they at least replaced the motor Stay Far away from this Car they would even work out a trade for this car Tells you how much faith they have in their own vehicles

My Elantra was about to be robbed and Hyundai ignoring us
My Elantra was about to be robbed the insurance company paid me 184 only and 1000 is the deductible amount I ve to pay it from my pocket The insurance companies won t offer me any low price quotes for Elantra And some companies refused to insured my car Hyundai USA saying we will settle this down for the owners but after court decision on September and September now finished October November and 2023 for no news from them Don t buy Hyundai I m really disappointed of them Moreover the authorized dealerships want to keep the car for 3 month in average to get it fixed before upgrading the security system without offering me another car for my daily use Run away from Hyundai guysNP I m experiencing this in the USA

Bad customer service
Do not believe the bold statements in their web sites especially their customer service department Bunch of useless people who does not care about their customers at all They will let you wait 6-7 weeks while you think they are there to help you all what they do cover tehir ass I highly recommend get a layer and sue them from day 1

NEVER BUY A Hyundai
Being a service member overseas my Hyundai Tucson engine blew up and it was still under warranty After the local Hyundai dealership determined it was a manufacturer defect I submitted a claim but it was denied numerous times because I wasn t in the US I am on us official military orders I sold the piece of junk for parts after two years of back and forth with these jokers I will NEVER buy or recommend Hyundai EVER again

Hyundai is an extremely corrupt company Please whatever you do do not purchase a Hyundai You will certainly be purchasing one that has an engine defect that they have not and will not take responsibility for They purposefully wait to issue recalls until many people have just gotten out of warranty That way they can save an enormous amount of money while you lose money by dumping it into repairs that won t work for defective engines Although they are responsible for multiple engine defects they do not want to compensate for the losses this has caused many people

Hyundai deserves 0 stars
If I could give Hyundai company 0 stars I would We purchased a brand new Hyundai Tucson and it has been nothing but a nightmare since day 2 Our passenger airbag warning light came on after 2nd day of buying the car yet when I went to communipaw dealership in Jersey City to report the problem they charged us to check that when it should have been covered and then they claimed it was an animal bite on the wire which was impossible since the car is brand new Also when contacting Hyundai corporate headquarters and opening a claim about the issue they never helped us and expected us to pay 6000 out of pocket for an airbag The dealerships don t even Pick up the phone when you try to make an appt as well Stay away from Hyundai and buy another car brand or regret it later

My 2023 Hyundai Elantra ac had gone out at the end of the year last year luckily due to it being cold i didn t worry about it Now that it s so hot they re gonna diagnose the car and say it s a dent in the condenser I haven t even had the car for a year and under warranty still Of course service doesn t want to do a ac repair for free so they lie to Hyundai corporate and say it s not a manufacture defect so it s not covered It s so hot and I m pregnant with no ac in the car
