Can t even do a simple task right would you trust them

A simple task saw a parcel of land for sale in deal The ad as slightly confusing and so as a cash buyer rang the deal office to verify my thoughts and arrange a viewing This began at 11 am five phone calls later still trying to get some one to ring me back Finally at 3 30 a call Guess what I did nt bother answering I was just so annoyed by their un professionalism i have to say Claudia their receptionist was very polite each time I rang I am an ex managing director myself in the service industry and was extremely disappointed I hope miles and Barr directors read this they have a lot of work to do Will not be using or recommending this company to anyone until things improve

M B Ramsgate - Pathetic and Unprofessional experience encountered

The agent Harvey Hoskin initially scheduled an appointment for January 11 2025 but later informed me that it needed to be rescheduled to January 14 2025 at 9 15 AM as they were unable to obtain the keys On the morning of January 14 I called M B Ramsgate before leaving home to confirm they would attend the property viewing as planned My calls went to voicemail so I left a message and sent an email to Harvey Hoskin Although I received no response I went to the property trusting that their team was experienced and responsible Unfortunately I was gravely mistaken While en route I received a call from Max Negotiator who requested that I arrive by 9 00 AM instead of 9 15 AM I assured him I would be there before the scheduled time However 10-15 minutes later when I was 2 minutes away from the property location Max called again to inform me that they did not have the keys and would not be able to show the property This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for a client s time is both shocking and unacceptable especially from a lettings team with supposed experience I took leave from work and wasted both time and money only to be told last minute that the keys were unavailable If the keys were not ready I should have been informed well in advance Everyone s time is valuable not just yours In comparison my experience with M B Margate was far more professional and communicative While I could overlook this incident it s concerning that Harvey Hoskin might repeat such negligence with other clients It reflects a lack of responsibility and respect for clients time and efforts which is simply unacceptable

Dishonesty and unrespectful young people who have no clue how to deal with people Shannon in ramsgate What an incompetent service Run that s the advise - run and f as t Monopoly is a scary thing - should have DYOR before even enquired with them No deal - my win

By far the worst estate agency on the

By far the worst estate agency on the planet we got scammed into there sole agency for 20 weeks policy in that entire time there answer was to keep reducing the price on the 4 viewings we had in that time and they were the agency who valued the property in the 1st place We then got out of our contract period and went with another agency and sold for asking price in 2 weeks Miles and Barr are not pro active at all My wife has put an offer in with miles and Barr for another property 3 days ago and the still have not contacted the vendor with her offer They are utterly useless

Considering how this company treats tenants i amazed they are still used by Landlord s they ignore safety issues and turn a blind eye to illegal goings on

What a miserable experience

What a miserable experience the last few months have been Issues ignored or I am told to try to manage it on my own I feel so unsupported Speculating that landlords love them because they never share the issues with them I don t know how they manage to get the houses when they manage them so poorly

They withheld both my properties and would not sell them

I went with Miles and Barr in April 2024 when my tenants left I put my flat up for sale in July 24 It then took me over a year to get the rental flat back to normal I asked miles and Barr to put that on the market too 2 flats up for sale A man came round on the 2nd of April 2025 to take the photos I thought BINGO We are away Yesterday the 30th of May it was still not on the market That was very nearly a month later Umm If it looks like my property is being withheld if it smells like my property it is being withheld If it feels like my 2 properties are both being withheld-do some research I did I got my partner to ring their office anonymously He asked the Manager Bradley about All the properties for sale in The Sea Bathing Guess what Yep my 2 properties were left out Bradley the manager didn t mention mine at all That s all I needed to know It confirmed what I already suspected My homes were being withheld from the market By keeping MY PROPERTY off the market without my permission one thinks I may as well buy a one way ticket to North Korea or China Secondly I live in a free market economy When one enters into a contract with an estate agent It s called a legal obligation Let s look at the semantics of that word Legal in regard to Miles and Barr Really it s a precursor to the word unlawful How about this harbinger-negligent loss I had a negligent loss at the hands of Miles and Barr because I signed into a contract This contract enabled the agents to look after their own discriminatory practices Yes the practice of discrimination I thought their only practice was to sell my homes Oh I was deluded They wouldn t have done this to a man They wouldn t have done this to a couple They done this because I am a disabled female They mistakenly think I am vulnerable When I went into branch bringing up the subject The manager claimed he wasn t the Manager He then tried to gaslight me direct discrimination-The Equality Act 2010 and made one feeble excuse after another lastly I was insulted That is what you resort to when you are guilty Why didn t just say SORRY is beyond me They didn t What Miles Barr s agenda is I have no idea It certainly isn t to sell property When you wait long enough people always reveal themselves My Barrister knows all about this
