Poor Customer Service Response More Faults 6 500 Hot Tub Do Not Recommend

Problems with installation no filter for 4 weeks 2 Jets not working correspondence very slow no urgency to resolve sent last email over a week ago and still no response back on a 6 500 sale Diabolical Service now seeking legal advice on a sale not 9 weeks old would not recommend Order 48433293Update on Outdoor Living Hot Tubs 8th Jan 2025The request from Outdoor Living Hot Tubs was for me To complete an exchange on the 2 faulty jets As you can imagine I would not be prepared to remove any panels and exchange items under warranty myself so called Ethan who sold me the tub and agreed we would wait until they came out to complete the first service On Friday 3rd Jan 2025 Jet2 Pump failed so immediately reported this to Outdoor Living Hot Tubs who advised they would get back to me Monday afternoon 6th Jan nothing so phoned through to customer services again got through to a very polite representative who advised they would call me back that day didn t get a call but did get an email asking me to clarify the fault So sent a quick video of the issue Wednesday 8th Jan nothing so have taken advice from the trading standards and the customer rights acts then proceeded to send this information back to Outdoor Living advising them of my rights and have suggested under the customer rights act to collect the faulty goods and refund me in full Got an email back within minutes stating they are having difficulties getting the issue resolved due to my location Mainland UK this didn t seem to be a problem when I purchased we were advised Outdoor Living deliver to the mainland UK I received a reply from Outdoor Living Hot Tubs this evening and was shocked by the reply Good Afternoon Phil Thank you for your patience whilst I worked to get this resolved for you I apologise it has taken longer than normal due to trying to arrange the logistics because of your location The earliest date we have available is 23rd January I have provisionally booked this in anticipation Whilst the parts are covered by your Warranty conditions the call out fee is chargeable at 199 Kind Regards NatalieHot Tub Service Warranty and Repair Outdoor LivingTel 01482 212322 Option 2 I am baffled how companies like Outdoor Living Hot Tubs can operate their business in the UK when we are supposed to have strict trading rules and standards as stated I have now started proceeding with Trading standards and will update on any progress I know this might sound trivial to people however the fact that on 2 occasions still ongoing we have not been able to use our purchase for weeks and as for anyone who owns a hot tub you will know it isn t a cheap hobby I am reluctant to switch off the tub and empty in this cold weather and have not been given any advise in what to do so to have 100 approximately of running costs per month not to mention the cost of chemicals I pay them and not be able to use my purchase I feel is unfair and no way close to what I would expect on a 6 500 purchase

Misleading product description

Misleading website description and photograph Appeared to be ordering a genuine Jacuzzi product but was in fact shipped a generic replacement Was told this information was contained in the Compatibility description I ordered based on the Jacuzzi part number description and photograph No need to read compatibility information It would have been more honest to describe the replacement part in the first instance Be sure to read all associated information to ensure you receive what you ordered Totally misleading

Sham

we were undecided which hot tub to buy however the very clever sales man at outdoor living used his sales techniques to get us to buy the more expensive Jaccuzi one because in his words it was the Rolls Royce of hot tubs Foolishly we took his advice however less than 4 years on we now have a tub that has broken 3 times The latest repair has just cost us nearly 400 including the call out charge to replace our Rolls Royce pump When I rang outdoor living to complain they said there was nothing they could do so I wanted to speak to Jacuuzi to see what the average life expectancy of a pump was however outdoor living said that because the engineer was already at our house if I decided not to go ahead with the repair I d still have to pay the 99 call out charge and there would be another 50 fee if I wanted the engineer to come back after speaking to Jacuzzi Given this risk of having to pay even more money we felt we had no choice but to agree to the repair So the engineer repaired our tub and left however 400 later it s still not working the water has gone cold and we now also have the added cost of reheating the water We are currently on the phone trying to get through to outdoor living to get them to come back But I bet they won t compensate my husband a for having to take another day off work it s an absolute sham If you want my advice buy a cheaper tub and don t use outdoor living

Less than a year old the main control

Less than a year old the main control board has gone faulty leaving me with no hot tub for 8 weeks which at this point I had had to cancel a birthday party not have the use for mental heath reasons to find the part they said was out of stock was in stock but I only found this out by taking it in to my own hands and contacting their supplier direct which they had already spoke to no compensation for all the stress and inconvenience It was due its first service and I asked would they honer this in respect of all the mess up on THEIR PART for what I had endured No not even a bottle of scented crystals as a Courtesy gesture Total disgusted with aftercare and will not be recommending them again as I have done previously and friends have bought from them
