What a catastrophe from start to

What a catastrophe from start to finish Found the tiles we were looking for and ordered them on line Had a long wait but knew that at the point of ordering and arranged workers to accommodate this when the tiles arrived we thought they did not look exactly as the tiles we had ordered but as we had been advised this type of tile we had ordered varied a lot from batch to batch With the fact we had now started to rip out our bathroom we decided not to complain and blamed ourselves on our choice of tile Once we fitted all the tiles to the wall we found we had under estimated and required a further 5 boxes We had to postpone the work as we had a 2-3 week delivery of the 2nd batch When the 2nd batch arrived we found to our horror these were the tiles we had ordered in the 1st place and now did not match the tiles we had on the walls Now the problems really started It took around 4 weeks to admit they had sent the wrong tiles in the 1st place and then to find out what tiles they had sent us and find the same batch to match what we had on the walls As we fitted the floor tiles 1st we now found the floor tiles did not match the wall tiles and had to rip out all the floor tiles and buy new and refit which included removing all the bathroom furniture and refitting This cost us another 3 days labour the cost of new floor tiles and going without a bathroom for about 8 weeks in total They basically was trying to blame us and would only offer 130 in compensation The communication was slow to say the least and we found ourselves banging our heads against the wall when trying to get replacement tiles delivered with Tile expert giving us every excuse in the book as to why it was taking so long All in all a terrible and very stressful experience

You will struggle to get a refund

It seems that all goes well with TileExpert until they can t deliver and you change your mind I ve been battling them for the past 2 weeks to get a simple refund for a canceled order of over a 1000EUR I placed and paid for an order but it turned out the delivery date originally quoted was unachievable At this point I decided to cancel the order and accept a higher price going for a local retailer that had crucial items available more readily TileExpert terms and conditions clearly state I m entitled to a refund and that such refund is issued within a week I ve now been waiting for more than 2 weeks and although TE support claims that money has been sent back to my credit card my bank had received no such instruction In all of this dealing with Olga from TE support is rather frustrating Emails go unanswered you have to call to chase up and you get a reassurance she d look into things - afterwards there s no follow up communications and all goes silent I m reaching a point where there s little left other than reporting this as a case of fraud to my bank and have them deal with this In short level of customer support is nothing short of unacceptable in today s standards Beware if you ever change your mind for whatever reason you will struggle to get your money back

Very hard from France

Lead-times are long and it s very hard to get info and answers to questions To be more precise my order was placed on August 24th On September 7th after asking about the payment modes I m told We ask you not to proceed with payment until we confirm your goods availability On Sep 9th I m told goods are available except one reference that is planned to be produced on September 30th As I had no confirmation about availability on October 8th I came back to you and I ve been told Your order being not paid we haven t been able to reserve the goods for you and it s been sold to an other customer New availability mid-November When I asked why nobody confirmed goods availability I didn t get any reply In the end on Nov 3rd I m told goods are available I pay and goods are delivered on Nov 20th 17 days to ship one pallet from Modena to France is very long So in the end it took 3 months to get a volume representing less than a full pallet qty and I m very late on my refurbishment works Of course a finencial compensation was refused I haven t got any complaint regarding shipment conditions I ve received everything no missing parts and everything is in good shape One good point

Very bad experience with service will not purchase here

I am honestly surprised on so many positive reviews that was the reason I spent a lot of time choosing and finalizing my order- since I was told to first order then i will get to know the delivery costs Which were enormous like almost half of the whole order So I said I will let the goods be picked up by my own means interestigly enoough for portugese and spanish tiles pick up in Italy This would have been ok however now Tileexpert said I have to still pay 191euros for delivery since the tiles are at the manufacturer What the heck is it normal to pay for company s logistics The company s apparetly always right so they come up with it is only your choice to purchase or not attitude worse I have seen in a while So very unfortunate since the choice of tiles is nice but when the company s policy is so shady I won t support this Apparently many customers are not critical enough to ask why the delivery costs are 40 higher than standard

Don t manage your order forced to change bathroom design

We ordered our tiles after Tile Expert gave us an estimated delivery date early June Well in time for our fitting end of June start July They then contacted us to revise the date to mid June and we accepted Mid June came and went I contacted them and was told it had been delivered I explained it had not I was asked to check my spam folder because the delivery company should have contacted me They had not All the time it s showing as not shipped from Italy i live in the UK The next day they confirm it s not even been picked up from the manufacturer My fitters arrive Monday These are high value tiles - no one stocks them These guys don t proactively manage your order No one realised it hadn t moved until I contacted them They told me they can cancel the order Still waiting for confirmation in writing Now we are FORCED to change the design of our bathroom because these guys messed it up They didn t seem to understand the importance of timelines and how not having the product totally destroys an install timeline If they had kept me informed that would be fair enough but they didn t and kept telling me it had been delivered

This is THE WORST company I have ever

This is THE WORST company I have ever dealt with I bought tiles that were supposed to be 60x60 cm according to the info on the website but when they arrived they turned out to be 59 5x59 5 which made a huge difference in my case The company does not want to take responsibility for that I had to wait almost 3 weeks for their reply that they won t do anything about it They offered 10 refund which was not even the 10 of the cost of my purchase The delivery was a disaster- I was getting the info that the tiles will arrive tomorrow for over a week The support was horrible too Olga I had to wait for their replies 3 4 days and they could not speak the language they were supporting

Be very very carefull -- Lead time liers

MISS SOLD TILES - DO NOT USE TILE EXPERT Honest experience which has lost me nearly 1000 due to being told have a tile within lead time pay two days later told EXTRA 5 WEEKS ON ORIGINAL 4WEEKS do I want huge 2400 1200 instead can be delivered in time frame Jessie Tile Expert have pushed extreme large format tiles at last minuite by adding 5 weeks lead time to the original days after payment received just so they can get rid of difficult stock KNOW ONE WANTS TO LAY THEM or touch them OFFERED NO HELP AT ALL FROM Tile Expert DONT USE THEM They accept NO resopnsibility

They take to much time to refund your money

I have been waiting 2 weeks for a refund on an order THEY cancelled Now they want 5-10 more business days They should revise their refund policy There is no reason to wait 10 days t get a credit card refund it should be refunded immediately after the order is cancelled

This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with personally I spoke with Laura Parve she was not equipped to answer my enquiry My tiles arrived damaged I needed to add additional tiles lead time 4 weeksI asked for an escalation apparently she did not have a manager she runs the company I have been waiting for 3 days for an update from Logistics I asked if I could call them not possible I called the tile company direct they do not recommend using Tile expert Please do not use this company they make there money from their logistics which is a shambles
