Fast and excellent service - thank you

I ordered a Nintendo Switch bundle on Sunday lunchtime and it arrived by 11 30am the next morning I see other people haven t been as lucky but my experience was excellent Updates were good DPD delivery driver excellent Look forward to seeing how the rest of the Nintendo experience goes when we play the games on Xmas Day

Convoluted software purchase process but at least a CSR explained it to me

Dear Readers I bought a Switch and set up an account for my son for Christmas The Switch came with Minecraft and this worked The problems appeared when we tried to use the Nintendo eShop As a present we loaded up 70 pounds and bought a Minecraft addon for 4 79 GBP It downloaded to the Switch and we kept the Minecraft game card into The Addon would not work It always told us You must have the software in order to play I created a support ticket with Nintendo Support They explained that the Addon could only be bought with te Minecraft version sold on their eShop but they then told me that Nintendo does not sell this version of Minecraft Erm well done marketing In the end they refunded the money and explained how I could buy Coins from Microsoft with the cash on the Nintendo account which in turn is used to buy Addons from Microsoft What a mess At least we have a possibe process to follow Albeit needlessly convoluted and a waste of time Who dreams up these processes

No problems After reading the reviews I was very worried the switch arrived within 3 days via DPD delivery Good experience overall with Nintendo Website needs improvement for a billion pound tech company it s not a great experience Support does need to be more accessible the chat function didn t work on my IOS device it did work on my laptop

Review Good products bad maintenance

The experience was better than it seems on Trustpilot They actually have good service but there are many common issues with the current models Nintendo Switch I have also attended a conference with Nintendo and they are expecting a VR headset with their next generation Crazy to think they are revolutionising in the greatest ways I gave a Grade 4 rating for the models common appearance of bugs and glitches

Really Cool

Really cool consoles such as the Nintendo Switch and amazing games to get as physical and digital from the eshop The sales are good and the good points are also great I have had no problems with Nintendo so far

Great Repair Service

I have the original Switch that I bought when it came out My joy con s A button stopped responding well hence I ve just gone through a repair process with Nintendo Their troubleshooting on their website which shows their step-by-step suggestions is very clear to follow and I found out that my joy con needs to be repaired The process was surprisingly quick and easy I ve asked to start the repair process on Saturday and UPS came to collect my joy con on Monday They received my joy con the next day and had email notifications to say they started the repair on Thursday completed and shipped via UPS on the same day I received the repaired item on Friday so it took me a week to get sorted although their website says that it may require 3 weeks to receive repaired items I haven t received any emails to request a payment at least for now which is surprising given how easy and quick the process was Overall I loved how the repair process went and like their attitude of not constantly releasing new consoles and providing a good repair service to customers UPDATE on Nov 24 - They didn t send me any payment requests and they repaired my joy con for free

Speedy efficient repair

We sent a Switch control away for repair which they said could take three weeks We couldn t find the proof of purchase but they had it fixed for free and back with us inside five days Excellent service

Ordered a Switch Pro controller for my son after been let down by another company Was very straightforward to order on their online shop and It arrived the next day Super fast shipping

Very good

Was surprised to see a lot of the bad reviews on here because I had a very helpful and polite man on my end My switch had an error way back in 2017 and wouldn t boot up properly so I called them up They were very patient and understanding of the situation After I had sent it off they were able to fix my switch and even back up my saved data and games Wish I had gotten the man s name who had helped me
