Basically never restock the amiibos

I have phoned up 4 times today 3 times I was guaranteed that my Nintendo switch will arrive today 3rd of March the fourth time I phoned up I was told that it won t I took time off work to make sure I m home for this you didn t take any responsibility for your mistake sending it via Royal Mail 48 which was confirmed to me by RM themselves When I raised this with your customer support on the phone I ve been assured that it was a mistake and it will arrive today Well it didn t I already said I want to make a formal complaint I ve been promised I will receive a message from the admin team which I didn t I expect some form of compensation for this I ve been lied to by you and I got my hopes up all day Again I EXPECT the console to arrive tomorrow now 4th and I EXPECT compensation for this I lost a day of holiday over this What it was supposed to be a joyful day it turned into a day of waiting on the phone frustration and anger That s not how you re supposed to win customers or do a launch of a console Thanks Nintendo for ruining this day making me waste time and a day of holiday Can you ever repay me for that No even when I ll get the switch it will be a sour experience I ll always be reminded of this So well done UPDATE I received the switch early on the 4th and I m chuffed with it Looking back I started to forget about the whole ordeal with phoning Nintendo Everything was sorted in the end but I still think the customer service could be improved quite a fair bit They have been clueless were lying about who they sent the package with possibly misinformed but still Yes it was frustrating and annoying but Saturday morning I was too happy and busy playing with the console to even bother with all the frustration Nintendo did indeed offer me some form of compensation for the whole issue which was a plus I guess I ve ordered many things from them and never had issues with deliveries or customer service up until now I hope Nintendo get to see this message and next time try and improve their customer services as they only drive people away with things like this

Shoddy After care

So My son s switch broke and I sent it in for repair The parcel went missing which I know isn t Nintendo s fault as I can tell via the parcel force tracking But have had nothing short of a nightmare with them direct I m currently in a 30 day investigation period with all the biggest release and events happening So My son is heartbroken So with it being so long I ve had to go out and buy a new one out of my own pocket But this isn t the worst part He s lost all his gaming hours off it from the last 7 months and all his digital purchases are locked to his old switch With a message coming up on his new console saying please de-register the old console first SERIOUSLY With a company as big as Nintendo your think they d either say go out and buy a new one and we will reimburse you or say will send you another as we can tell it s gone missing and will chase parcel force for the claim But No They rather disappoint a young Nintendo fan Now what annoys me the most is the fact Nintendo yes are good enough to offer free postage but I didn t employ parcelforce as the contract delivery firm I m now just left out of pocket and had a disappointed son over these last few weeks Edit Upped my review to 3 stars after finally getting through to a decent rep Got compensated in a great way as well It just took to long from start to finish

Slow and uninformative UK repairs

I sent my Switch in to be repaired 3 weeks ago as it completely stopped working out of the blue but was fortunately still within the warranty period by 2 weeks As of yet I have had absolutely no information regarding the repair other than an email to say that they had received the console 2 weeks ago I have contacted customer support and they have no clue about the status of my repair and have no idea when it will be looked at or sent back to me They couldn t even say if I would have it back by Christmas Brilliant I don t have particularly high hopes for my save files either Hopefully when I eventually see my Switch again it will arrive fully working and in perfect condition as I would hate to have to deal with their customer support ever again UPDATE I have finally received my Switch back after 4 weeks and they have replaced the main board so all appears to be working again and Nintendo have extended my warranty for another 12 months Unfortunately all of my saves have been lost but I m just happy to have the console back at least It would be great if Nintendo could offer a better idea of how long repairs will take as it s frustrating being left in the dark

My analog stick drifts and since I live in England I couldn t get it fixed but moat of the games are pretty good and stuff

Slow but got there in the end

Delivery took a few weeks with a few confusing emails with conflicting information one letting me know it was going to take longer than expected the other saying they didn t know when they d have it back in stock But it did eventually arrive and all well packed Their prices are RRP and their bundles don t save you any money other than a free case which I ll never use but that s not their fault All in all they could have been more up-front with the delays as when purchasing they said it would arrive next day Customer support did eventually get back to me but by then I d got my product

This review is a little glimmer of hope

This review is a little glimmer of hope for those who ordered around Black Friday and who had only so far received parts of their order without their console Today my console finally turned up I d previously received only the free memory card on its own which was not much help I will say though that I did send two emails queries regarding the matter and both were responded to within 48 hours The second one from Georgie was actually a proper reply rather than a bog standard bounce back and was very apologetic and addressed my concerns

Delivery slow box ripped open but product fine

Ordered a switch lite a few weeks ago the delivery time took a week which was expected due to the lockdown Box arrived ripped open so you could visibly see the contents not impressed by the packing as I have just spent 200 on a console which could ve been taken from the box and my doorstep Hermes as always don t care left the parcel unattended outside my house visible to anyone walking by on the main road I live on

Some good Some bad

Some good some bad I ll start off by giving them some praise I ordered the new Nintendo Switch OLED from the My Nintendo Store and it arrived within 2 days so no problems there very easy however the issue started when I wanted to buy the new Pokemon game Brilliant Diamond I had brought Mario Kart 8 the day before and it was fine but when trying to purchase the Pokemon game neither of my 2 debit cards would work even though I used one to buy Mario so I decided to buy the game from the My Nintendo Store and get a digital download key I paid for it and got the confirmation email and the key is supposed to be emailed to me within 30 minutes it has been over 24 hours and I still haven t received my download key spoken to live chat twice and got pretty much no help apparently they are having delays with their digital keys which is stupid it should be a very simple transaction The customer service does nothing to help and tbh I expect much more from a company so big I just want to play Pokemon

Really Quiet Customer Service PhoneLines

Has Anybody else experienced this I m trying to sort out why my DPD package hasn t shown up yet and I m met with Really Quiet PhoneLinesWhere I just about hear the Representative on the other end as I m straining to hear no matter how high my call volume is or if I put it on loud speaker even though I just spoke to DPD clearly 5 mins agoNot gonna mark the Nintendo UK store really low as this is reflective of their call lines and my struggle to sort an issueThe package missing is a DPD problem as it was scanned in their warehouse and they told me I need to phone the Sender to follow it up hopefully Nintendo UK find a solution and I can update this reviewsUpdate DPD finally delivered the package probably thanks to Nintendo for following it up and emailing me it managed to arrive Yesterday 13th October so Next day delivery for the 8th October only went and took 5 more days

express shipping takes 6 days

express shipping is worse than any other company s standard delivery been waiting 5 days keep saying it will be dispatched soon but never happens avoid if u want a quick delivery u will not get it here FINALLY got it took 6 days everything i ordered was in there and not damaged only problem was the dispatch time really
