Disappointing Customer Service
I recently ordered a birthday present - Nintendo Switch console And after receiving the item realised there are a few games that I cannot play I had all the tags bags etc and knew the item could be returned within 14 days no questions asked And soon as I raised a return request they wrote back stating - you cannot return an item once the box is open So I raised a dispute with PayPal and immediately received an email with the return form and numerous instructions to return that look me 4 reads to comprehend Extremely disappointing experience

Ordered a Switch from the website I was really disappointed with the next day delivery - it did not arrive until 9pm at night which was really inconvenient for me as I d had it delivered to my work office intending for it to arrive on Friday for me to play it on Friday night Customer services were nice enough but unable to change the address to be my house despite my Switch not yet being shipped

Nintendo Have always been saying that they are trying to help my case in which my parcel has still not been delivered despite showing that it has been however I am beginning to feel like they are saying this to just make me go away I want the money back for the parcel that I haven t received that is over a week late

I ve had my Nintendo switch lite for 5 months if anyone wants to buy one for their child It s a risk it stopped charging so I ve sent back to Nintendo but I ve had to pay a fee because the port was bent now they must be sensitive because I know it s been used properly and carefully I don t understand how it s become bent so if this is a comment issue I can t keep affording for it to be repaired it makes me not want to own one now

Nintendo is a mixed bag for me I adore the company For it s games its reputation with popular characters such as Mario Link and Kirby however I cannot get my head around how they have fallen so far in terms of console manufacturing and the way they go forward with online gaming The first shock is the fact early switch members got the experience of a free online service which quite frankly should still be the case However like every growing corporation there has to be a money grab in there introducing Nintendo Switch Online Okay fine other companies have a subscription for online gaming too but this is Nintendo we are talking about its out of character for their originality as a company That brings me onto my next issue the lack of sustained manufacturing for their Switch Console Although my analogue stick did last about a year before it began drifting I know other joycons have faced flaws in their build that completely ruin the gameplay AND the fact they cost so much for such a cheap design its madness Furthermore Nintendo s refunding policies for bought games needs a rework My friend purchased a game and played it for about 2 months and unknowingly found major breaks within some of the later aspects She attempted to refund this game but Nintendo gave her the big NO because she had owned and experienced the game for too long What Nintendo needs to find this path of appeal once again because users will just move to other platforms that appear to be more sustainable

Ordered a Switch OLED almost two weeks ago and it hasn t been delivered but they ve taken my money Every single time I contact them they just say your complaint has been escalated with no further information This is the worst customer experience I have ever received Do yourself a favour and never order directly from these guys as they simply do not care what happens once they have your money Edit product arrived two weeks late Zero communication from My Nintendo Store Personally I would still avoid shopping with them as the customer service is still very bad

Fun console but the online is a rip off Go for PS or Xbox
The console is fun but the online membership is a total rip off They give you a free trial online when you buy the console but you can t even use all the online features it s pointless Also you need an online account for everyone that plays not one per console Swindle if you have multiple kids as they all need an account Then if you pay for that you still can t play the retro games you need the expansion pack which cost loads more and surprise surprise conveniently doesn t have a monthly subscription only a yearly one Very poor Nintendo I remember when you used to be the best value for gaming those day have long gone

How can I start with this The device I was gifted was fine no problems no situations but the pricing for the online game s for their Nintendo 3DS XL the Nintendo Switch and more Seriously making us PAY for their online service which WAS free for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii family of consoles What the heck are they thinking by doing that For example I wanted to get a new game like the new Legend of Zelda one physically it was 44 99 but digitally it was 59 99 THAT S NEARLY TWICE OR TRIPLE THE AMOUNT IT SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY So Nintendo you have A LOT of improvements to make to your current gen console
