Nintendo needs to do better than this

Let s be honest the Nintendo UK support service is bad There s just a complete lack of communication or status updates on the repair service I initially sent off my Switch to them to be repaired because of a hardware problem the Switch overheats frequently and begins to warp making it impossible to play docked for more than 15-20 minutes at a time I would imagine that many other Switch owners are experiencing this same problem Nintendo received my Switch more than 2 weeks ago and they only began the repair process on it last Tuesday However on the user account page for the Nintendo Service Centre UK the status reads Repair held - awaiting parts How long will this go on for I have e-mailed them every few days but Nintendo takes too long to answer my e-mails The website even says fast turnaround 3-7 days really It s a shame as I ve always been a fan of Nintendo but I have never experienced a slow unresponsive service like this Come on Nintendo you need to communicate with your customers better

Can t fault customer service but the repair tech need new employees

I can t fault customer service they have always replied to my emails however I sent my sons switch off for repair with the charger being faulty and stating this they updated there status after a month to fault found then 3 days later they updated it to no fault so which is it then 5 6 weeks later when it was returned with the same charger so what did they actually do to my sons switch Also it had a decent screen protector on it then returned it with none then when I questioned this eventually after 3 weeks they sent a screen protector out I binned it it was not a screen protector it was a a scratch preventer that u get with new phones the very thin ones it wouldn t even stick to the screen absolutely appalling for such a big company I genuinely can t work out how they couldn t detect the charger doesn t work It doesn t even half work it s been faulty since Christmas last year and due to having warranty I sent it off Guys your warranty doesn t mean anything I m gutted and I have a gutted child so thanks Nintendo

Disappointing I expected better from a large brand

Ordered my Switch in January Close to the delivery date I thought I d better change my delivery address and service I messaged the store and they said I couldn t in a canned message how impersonal So I resigned myself to possibly not being home to receive the order But it is saturday 4th March and the tracking information still says Royal Mail hasn t received the package and posts on forums suggest some packages that were shipped got changed to another courier An utter shambles people want their launch day console on launch day it s not as if the company shipping can t predict demand they know the release date they know how many orders they have and stock levels Why is it such a problem to get packages out in time All the orders for the Switch should have been shipped with a decent courier like UPS or DPD no exceptions Since brand image is everything and Nintendo isn t the market leader

Online system is terrible

Online system for repairs is terrible Tracking system doesn t work I was told to ignore it by a customer representative and I was later on informed that not only did the system lose my details but my physical Switch had gone missing in their warehouse Once located after about a week I continued over the phone the repair progressed and I received my Switch back A month down the line however I began to receive emails about another persons repair including a request for money It transpired that their online system had generated another repair under my name for reasons unknown In theory this means someone else s repair has gone AWOL as my details were stored against it and not theirs Really bad systems and customer service seems to be unaware of how it all works I would be extremely hesitant to use this service again

Worst customer service ever

Placed an order and fell into the Nintendo customer service pit of despair Normally dispatched in 24 hours - well that date came and went Estimated delivery date shown in the online account Nope used for false hope and display purposes only Days roll on and no order update Three emails to Customer Service unanswered phone line either cuts out or responds with an IVR announcing that Customer Services won t deal with order enquiries Where s my kids xmas present I dunno - maybe stuck in a pipe with Mario C mon Nintendo are you really this awful judging by other posts you are unashamedly Shoppers - if you must buy Nintendo use anyone else except go directly Trust me it s better for your sanity patience and state of well being Avoid avoid avoid

Paper Mario has no flavor anymore Miyamoto baby

I m giving a 50 50 on the paper Mario color splash and in general The first 3 were golden Miyamoto storyline isn t needed or old characters but I miss everything from the wii and before story lines characters atmosphere Obviously I m not a kid so I m not your target market I m one number of a billion just some rat and your extremely busy but let them do their thing that s how the other paper marios sold the best in my opinion I don t want to add negativity in your life I just wanted to say that and I m sorry if I have offended you in some way I m still gonna support Nintendo but I d like Nintendo to get a little more creative with sequels like star fox and maybe add some f zero in there That s it

Awful customer support

Awful customer support and slow refunds Great delivery turnaround though Run by The Hut so I guess Nintendo in name only I d rather go with John Lewis who have the same 2 year warranty

Nintendo Official UK Store - major pre-order problems and damaged goods

I will likely not use the Nintendo UK Store in the future I have had several items arrive damaged and customer services deny all refunds and returns their excuse is to blame it on the shipping delivery process It is clear that the handling process in their warehouse is at fault as the delivery packaging protection is very robust I have also experienced problems with receiving pre-order bonus items These are seemingly cancelled without notification be it email or a phone call You are expected to contact customer services weeks later and be informed that this is tough luck Nintendo - please sever ties with the Hut Group Zavvi I will buy from ShopTo and The Game Collection from now on

I wouldn t recommend UK online store The delivery service is not as good as the description on the official website and the manners of online chat agents are not even as good as mine I do love the consoles but I d rather go to the real store to get one

Also ordered the Black Friday Mario bundle deal that also arrived with no console Customer services can not say when it will be delivered Really poor serviceUPDATEGot my console today luckily I was in as I didn t have an email notifying me
