Not the best

Not sure where to start with our experience But will keep this review short In summary communications and keeping the customer updated is not the Alnwick branch s strong point Mini email breaches to me which was obviosuly meant for another customer emails to be in the wrong customer name and then apology emails sent with the wrong name again lack of response with regard to specific questions and concerns What can I say I have never had an experience like this in all my house purchases so am sure there are worse out there But this experience has not been good at all

Pattinsons and accompanying solicitors not recommended

We recently sold our house through Pattinsons South Shields and used their recommended solicitors ICS Law and the communication between an in-house firm and estate agents was dreadful How can you recommend a firm that the office openly says is awful On one instance I was phoned by Pattinsons relaying info from our buyers and when I phoned back to give an answer Keith the Senior Manager stated he won t pass that message on as that s not his job He told me to call the solicitors to do that he won t get involved when someone from his office was the one who called me in the first place and got involved We won t be using either of these again and to others just pay slightly more and get a better service

Process of Modern Auction

Was sceptical about proceeding with this type of purchase modern auction but speaking to Carl Richardson put me at ease Unfortunately his knowledge was not extensive enough at best and as a result it cost us thousands of unexpected costs Would not use this process again Please be careful

Bought and rented out property

Dealt with Cathryn and Louise in Whitley Bay branch for purchasing A couple of niggles during the purchase process which were eventually ironed out Would not recommend using their solicitor finding service though Adds another layer of bureaucracy and more fees which are unnecessary Would find my own solicitor in hindsight Just started leasing this property out - Sharon in Whitley Branch helped me with this So far so good although only a few days in They did however have a prospective tenant ready and waiting for a property in the area which sped things up nicely meaning minimal time of the flat lying empty

first time buyer

I was a first time buyer with Patterson Auction and I ve found their current online bidding system easy to use The sales negotiator Jamie Millen was helpful during the auction process arranging viewings answering my questions and after the auction maintained communication which ensured that the purchase got underway smoothly I am pleased to be acquiring a property within my budget

I used Chillingham road Heaton NEWCASTLE My only regret is using the solicitor s they recommended Trudie MoffatRAW Clark 35 Newgate Street Morpeth Northumberland NE61 1AT I did mention this to the estate agent saying they should NOT recommend them

Pattinsons Houghton le spring office Have to say have been ok with our purchase but when finding out a issue and the property has been sold via auction it s too late but think you need to really make sure that what you write in your description is correct as it s now costing me more money

The people in the shops are great but that s where it ends the rental department is absolutely beyond hopeless
