Am using their e-comm platform for my shop Platform makes it fairly easy to set a shop up with stock theme s and get going though themes will inevitably need customisation which require spend with external Shopify partner agencies and their developers The main pain point is their very poor customer support service They just don t want to invest time supporting store owners their support staff only want to push you to a shopify partner agency to solve problems and or the community forum pages which have tumbleweed blowing through them or non technical contributors or highly questionable predatory shopify partners just wanting you to spend hourly rate with them I write this so that you know what you re getting into Shopify support is very poor you will most likely need an external shopify partner agency to work with you solving problems and customising your store and you will likley struggle to get much real support from Shopify aside from look at docs post in community forum and pay a Shopify partner Poor show Shopify you re not short of funds you ought to look after your customers better

Terrible Support You go on chat and it takes 5 to 8 minutes per reply Cleary dealing with too many people at once 11 replies took over an hour and two of them were automated hellos As a new customer they really need a onboarding team to get you up and running fast and help with the little niggles without that your just a number Saying that I m still giving 5 star review for the actual ease of using the store and the amount of apps you can use is amazing Shopify in itself is a great Ecommerce solution support is fine for day to day problems but feel they do need to improve onboarding Update 07 10 2022After using the product for a week yes its a great ecommerce solution but there are a few problems 1 Categories are now called collections Inventory management is so poor If you have a store with 1 000 products you don t have a clue what is assigned to a category and what is not so you can end up with orphaned products 2 The ability to edit the product images is poorly implemented You have to rely on Apps that you pay for to actually get the Cart working as per other providers Bulk Image processing is not possible

Have been using Shopify for a few years now and initially no real problems with it maybe other than the odd chargeback that we couldn t defend Unfortunately more recently all of the interactions I ve had with the support team have not been positive We are paying good money for the platform and I don t think the service matches up with it I spend 40 minutes on the phone in order to find out how to make a complaint about the service and was told it wasn t possible The platform normally works fine but if they change something and it breaks some functionality in my experience don t expect to get any support without it taking weeks and being a massive battle

Shopify is okay until you run into an inevitable issue which I have and many others have logging In problems I can t access my store and there is zero help All my hard work will have to be undone if I can t get any help I would not recommend

I had a torrid time over broken delivery promises but in fairness i have to say the compensation per cent of the order value was good

Interested if anyone has used sheedesonvso on Shopify at all and actually received their goods as described on the internet some of their content really does look too good to be true

This review is purely from a customer experience perspective One significant problem with shopify is the fact that the theme customiser is difficult to use and doesn t seem to work consistently on all pages For the home page you can add sections images colours etc but on all the other pages it doesn t work as well so now you have to go into the html of the page editor to make changes meaning that if you want to do it properly you have to learn both systems and how to translate custom formats identically to the HTML if you want any consistency throughout the site at all The editing tools should be more transferrable e g if you want to take a section from your home page to use on another page it should show you the code that was created with the custom tool

I ordered 2 diabetic bracelets from shopify on 28 august money as been taken I have sent 2emails asking about my order had no reply it seems that my order is coming from America it seems no goods also no monkey

i used shopify last year for my shop and i agree with most of the comments as my store got bigger their fees started to sky rocket i moved it to freewebstore which i advertise it on bidallhours free selling fees free shop for auction with hyperlink to my freewebstore and ikeep all the money from my sales

Shopify offer an amazing product at a reasonable price but once upon a time their contact options got you through to very helpful people however nowadays the quicker they can say hire an expert the better it seems The support is really not up to much anymore which is very disappointing
