If you re thinking of switching to spark DONT
Could not give a 0 so 1 star will doRun away from spark do not choose them for any of their services Unprofessional internet cuts out randomly applied for an account credit refund when I switched to one nz from spark like 3 months ago and they are still holding the money hostage Please stay away from this stupid f provider One nz is cheaper and has the workers actually care about what your issue is and get back to you

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service and communication probably the worst that I have experienced and that s saying something If you have an issue good luck you will end up speaking to someone in a far away call centre that has no idea and can t help you Purchased a new phone paid the deposit and heard nothing When I mentioned that I had been told that my order had been prioritised the week prior I was told that is what they tell all customers great job Still waiting for my phone after two weeks and customer services can t help appalling

spark NZ can not return calls
spark NZ can not return calls i thought spart was in it for communicating 20 years business customer and personal customer 47 years yet don t have any sense of pride decorum decency to reply to have a manager supervisor to return a call looks like my business is not wanted by them they for get i have paid in advance for16 years and they used my money before my accounts were due every month if i run my business the way they return calls i would have been out of business many years ago This must be their future way to do business OR NOT it is a total waste of time toy even phone them YES COMMUNICATION IS THERE SPECAITY yeh right LACK OF COMMUNICATION OR CUSTOMER SERVICE and i waited to even make contact only after speaking to ther support help desk SORRY NON HELP now i know why it takes so long to speak to someone because thay are busy dealing with customers THEY IGNORE and do nothing about I BET I STILL DON T GET REPLYIED TO AS I A CUSTOMER and looks as if you don t need us customers that s fine you are losing my money so many better offers anywayPLEASE I ASK YOU NOT TO JOIN THIS COMANY AS THEY WON T EVER RETURN SIMPLE CALLS may be they think through satellites and telepathic means because that don t human to human

USELESS
If i could give them 0 stars i would They are way too expensive I am currently on a phone repayment plan that has calls texts and data I should have just stayed with 2 Degrees but at the time they did not have my current phone in stock Anyways usually with 2 degrees i can cancel my plan calls text and data after 6 months and just pay the phone Yet Spark cannot do it They also said i could not change my plan they say their 45 plan is the only one i can stay on Definitely different from 2 Degrees I will never come back to this company and will tell others not to as well Maybe it is because i have only had great experiences with 2 Degrees that switching to Spark was such a great disappointment Do not choose Spark Plus their customer service team isn t all that great tbh

Terrible Company
Increase your fees without any notification and when you bring the issue up with their team it will just be an endless ball kicking game Word of advice if you ever encounter problems with Spark don t bother using the spark support just use TDR file a report and Spark will reach out to you

Unhappy client
I have been a spark customer for thirty odd years And recently I purchased a roaming pack when I went to Australia I was told it would cover my calss and tx Then I received this bill for 233 dollars Of course I was confused about this Then phoned them and told them it was not explained to me properly about the pack I must admit spark has put charges on and not explained it properly to me I m a pensioner that needs more explaining than the younger people So it is with regret that I am changing suppliers I went to a your opposition company and they explained it to me throughly and they were so helpful

Horrible reception
Horrible reception slow data or none at all and I am in a good area Their app is poorly designed and full of flaws requested a password change as it wouldnt recognize my password google stored sent me an email changed password entered new password then wouldnt recognize my email address which it just sent me reset code to Cant talk to a real person easily finally navigated to a contact number page then 53 minutes onhold Just bad all round On last trip back I used them and was all good but never again

Spark rips off its old customers
I was with Spark since the very beginning but as a loyal customer they just ripped me off I wanted to upgrade my plan due to low speed they said I need to pay in advance that means I have no respite from paying bills Speed sucked Turns out I changed provider they gave me new router and same speed is now working fine When I gave them notice they did not even try to offer me something useful to retain me as a customer for more than 15 years I was paying them much more for basic plan same cost as their highest speed and when requested to change they created hurdles

Spark hidden cost rip off do not use their service
transfer from 2 degree to spark for preorder iphone 16 i get top plan unlimited to get discount on preorder but they offer 200 discount while one nz offer 700 discount so i move to one nz then they rip me off with 199 bill plus 175 for disconnect as i use their service for 7 days there are hidden cost and totally worse service employees plus manager totally rip off i am going to report to fair go of the rip off service

Lied to by customer services rep
Lied to by customer services rep and signed us up to a plan we didn t want Told to us that it was a requirement before it could be changed to the plan we wanted Plan was never changed guess they hoped we would just let it slide If this is a sales tactic I m disgusted
