I never give top marks for anything in any survey as it might lure manufacturers into false sense of security thinking that they are perfect I like to leave a little room for improvement having said that I cannot really find any specific detail in my Stltz homelift that I consider needs changing for the better If my lift were a car I would make it a mini small neat and nippy It gets me upstairs with no fuss and fits in my house very unobtrusively It was certainly a cheaper option as opposed to moving house to a bungalow so I could get in to the bedrooms easily Well done Stiltz you have made my home life so much easier and given me back some independence which is important Only negative aspect I would mention that the buttons to raise and lower the lift are super sensitive I have limited force in my hands and sometimes find myself releasing the button mid flight Scary when between floors however now I am aware of the problem I shall just have to make sure and push harder for longer

Upside Looks great Works a treat Allows the use of the full house very quiet Seems very reliable really nice and friendly staff Stiltz does the lot nothing for the customer to do except pay of course Downside Long four month order to installation time Covid and full order book didn t help Crap local council planning staff

Overall pretty satisfied

Arrived as promised and fitted well and courteously Slight problem with door but the installers sorted that quickly Stopped on day 1 but service maintenance folks fixed within 24 hrs Running smoothly and follow up good Awaiting Building Regs certificate

All s well that ends well

I cannot fault the Classic Duo I can t imagine how we managed before it s installation It is easy to operate and has many features to keep it s user and their family safe The two fitters were very effective and informative throughout the installation The reason I have only given 4 stars is because we had a little mix-up regarding the siting of the lift initially and later there was an accident where the plumber put his feet through the ceiling However Stiltz have now re-skimmed the whole ceiling and all is well

An excellent lift

An excellent lift There was some confusion when the first surveyor visited about fire precautions but this was soon sorted out Stiltz arranged for us to visit a home where one was installed before we bought one - this helped us to decide There seemed to be several financial deals available in the months before we agreed to place an order These changed with time - but this was during the early stages of the pandemic

The engineers who installed it were really greatThe office staff were also great but for one area one week after installation I had a call trying to sell me additional warrenty cover this set a seed of doubt in my head what was going to go wrong with the lift when the 1 year warrenty runs out My mind was put at ease today when I had a call to do a survey on the lift Overall we are very pleased with our purchase but we would strongly recommend to Stiltz that the sales calls are done after say a 6 or 9 months after the installation is completed

Just the Job

Really pleased with the finished trio three floor lift After a few teething problems were sorted I and our visitors are really impressed A very smooth ride at a reasonable rate with barely any noise using just half a kilowatt Tucked into the corner of all rooms it is not at all intrusive Admittedly the first floor has to have a lift shaft around the lift for fire precautions which requires a separate door If you get a three floor lift make sure the lift shaft door specification includes a window with appropriate handles on both sides

The product and workmanship are worth 5 stars

As a person suffering from chronic COPD and am on oxygen 24 7 the Homelift is perfect for getting myself up and down the stairs The product and workmanship are worth five stars however as is usual in a project like this there is always a hiccup I was quoted 2 to 3 weeks for the project to start but I was still waiting a month and a half later before anything happened
