Ordered cca 600 EUR worth of equipment on Feb 09 2024 The next day I received an e-mail that a guitar pedal I ordered was actually out of stock which wasn t stated anywhere on the page when ordering and that the new resupply date from Earthquaker is Feb 14 Then five days later I received a new e-mail stating that the new resupply date will actually be Feb 22 I am in the middle of recording an album and I needed this pedal so based on the info that it is available I ordered it from Thomann I had to rent the pedal which caused delay and was an additional cost I called them explained the situation and asked for any kind of compensation a coupon a small discount anything they simply said No no discussion I work in customer support for a large company and I know how these situations should be treated Not like this I am back to ordering from Muziker and I warmly suggest you all do the same

Really disappointed with Thomann

Really disappointed with Thomann My audio interface they fixed only 4 months ago developed the same fault but now they re refusing to fix Poor customer service Thomann was my primary shop for studio gear because I felt they were decent and reliable but not anymore

No shipment after 1 5 months

I have ordered an out of stock guitar that is advertised as to be in stock in couple weeks I have waited more than a month When I had checked it said guitar was going to be in stock in 2-5 days I have asked thomann to not send it if it is going to be really in the stock in 2-5 days and told them I will be back home on 15th of March the latest Instead of dispatching the order to be at my address on 15th they sent the guitar to someone else and it went out of stock again I had wired the money asked for their accounting for a refund They did not even respond to the e-mail You could have at least told me you received it Their support needs to improve their conversation skills the way they conduct business says so much about them They act like they do not need customers

Don t buy at thomann

I ve order at 14 01 2024 a Warwick bass and the price was 769 e and I would had to wait 1 month to receive it Turns out the money never went through and in thomann they were giving the March 26th date to deliver the bass more than 2 months after Really bad customer support and experience Thomann dropping the ball

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service Paid for a new AKAI MPC which arrived terribly packed a small box banging around in a large one with no padding Sure enough - dead on arrival Thomann has no interest in getting this right - they have my money and I have no working device - they do not want to refund the full amount - I would have to bear the cost of import to New Zealand The carrier will not refund me After calling Thomann it was obvious that they simply did not care - throwing AKAI under the bus - manufacturer problem The guy told me what do you expect from ordering overseas What a horrible company Very expensive mistake

BAD SERVICE

I placed and order for a guitar about 6 weeks ago it never got here so I check my CC if it was charged it was and refunded since they never bothered to inform me if was not available I bought another one else where now out of the blue the charge my card and ship it I told them on thank you I got one elsewhere they told me tough luck there is a 217 fee to return it If you what a guitar whenever they are good and are ready on their terms to ship you one these then theses are your guys you ll get it when they are ready and not before They won t even bother to inform you if or when it will get here Do yourself a favor if you must have one buy it from amazon or another sell who at the least acts like they care about the customer

Non UK PSU and no replacement

Ordered a NUX Trident and the power supply unit isn t compatible with UK plugs I emailed them with pictures and received a reply to send more pictures I sent a reply with more pictures of the 2 prong adapter only to be ignored So now I have spent over 300 on a brickThe unit takes a PSU over 500ma so most other adapters do not work

Received a broken module twice

Received a broken module twice Was told to send it back yet they have no stock for a replacement I refuse to keep sending modules back and forth their quality control is just bad and they need to fix that Plenty of other sources to buy my modules at

A very slow returns process from the UK

Update 13 07 23 review changed from 1 to 2 stars I contacted Thomann as requested in their response to this review and a couple of days later received an apology and an offer to refund the order prior to their receipt of the returned goods Yesterday the refund reached my account - the same day that Thomann finally received the package 18 working days after it was sent I am pleased with their response to this review but I continue to be disappointed that so little was done to acknowledge their mistake and the subsequent cost and inconvenience to me I continue to urge anyone in the UK to consider that returns to Thomann for any reason will take up to 4 weeks for the goods to arrive before being processed - - - - - - - - -I am in the UK and have bought from Thomann many times without any problem However I recently had to return a wrongly delivered item which over a month later has still not been processed or refunded It also became apparent quite quickly that if I wanted the item originally ordered in the timescale needed then I would have to make - and pay for - a new order which thankfully arrived correctly and in good time In late May I purchased a boxed set of chimes and 3 working days later received the wrong set which had been mislabelled by Thomann in their warehouse It took a further 3 working days to issue a returns label which a week later I attached to the 14kg parcel and walked it to my nearest DHL drop-off point as requested 2 weeks later the return has still not been processed despite it being received by their UK agent 2 days after it was dropped off Thomann say they have not received the parcel and I must be patient they will let me know when they have it It is now over a month since I placed the order and I ve been warned it might take another 2 weeks 3 days to receive 4 weeks to return Despite the high value of the order 1 100 and the error lying wholly with Thomann I have had to chase every stage of the process a process for which no timescale was given until today and as a result of which I have been made to feel an impatient nuisance rather than a valued customer I m not saying UK customers shouldn t use Thomann but my advice to anyone in the UK thinking of purchasing from them is consider if you can afford a protracted and unsympathetic returns process should there be a problem with your order If not then I suggest you look somewhere else My advice to Thomann is you could improve your customer service with better communication and acknowledgement of your mistakes And please stop blaming additional border controls - if anyone knows how inconvenient they are it s the nearly 50 of British people who didn t want them I should also add that this is first negative review I have ever felt the need to leave on Trustpilot

I have no idea how to have a successful purchase

B-stock Tierra audio comp arrived with faulty knobs that were fixed by factory I went outside of Thomann for this fix since I knew Tierra would care Next purchase was a B-stock Neve 1073n that arrived in pieces UPS could ve done this I suspect it was poorly packed Bought the same 1073n from British dealer and found out what good service is like This week I foolishly ordered again but it was not b stock and rather two brand new items One is SPL TDx which arrived magically sealed in a box for the SPL DeS What gives with this company The prices are good thus the second star but the idea is that you get what you ordered and that keeps not happening
