I have had a payment plan with Cabot I logged into my account to offer an amount to settle the amount owed to which they advised that they passed the case to the courts and issued a judgement back in 2019 - however they have been happily taking monthly payments from me via direct debit No notice to issue judgement sent to me - credit score checks completed no judgements issued against my name they do not want to help you if you re struggling or offering to settle your account - the 5 reviews are BS SAR requested and will be taking it to FOS for review STAY CLEAR

They keep calling a number owned by my grandparents that are aged 90 and they keep harassing them I just went to my grandparents house and seen that they have been called over 50 times in the past month alone This is excessive and unnecessary especially since they have no business calling my grandparents as none of them are actually in any business relationship with Cabot I know Cabot will try to get this post removed but this is ridiculous they will ask for reference numbers and account details and so on when there is no account information because we are not their customer This company is just a scam Harassing old people nothing better to do You should be ashamed of yourselves

Keep calling but I have no debts on my credit file Nor have I defaulted on any payments for my credit cards or catalogues I have an excellent credit score yet these cowboys continue to call me with an automated voice saying press one of you re available Number blocked

Cabot financial beware do not pay by credit card
Cabot financial when taking payment by credit card instigate a cash payment to your credit card now if I missed where they say they do this in their payment section I apologise but if it is stated it is very clearly not easily visible Well I have contacted Cabot via their customer service as they provided an email address Now we will wait to see if they put this cash charge error right Update I sent in proof as requested unfortunately Cabot have chosen to completely ignore me hope fully this update will inspire some one at cabot to look into this we will see UPDATE Still not heard from cabot about the above it would seem they do not care so much once you have paid your account off

They re like flys round poo over 3 calls a day for weeks on end constant emails every day after already explaining the situation and setting up a direct dept they still carry on calling Very horrible company and people

If I could give zero I would Constant harassment by phone text and email surely this is illegal I ve been making payments for a number of years now if this was an issue do you not think I would be in touch by now I have updated my budget planner as asked and you still harass me Leave me alone

Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service I am still awaiting a phone call from a Manager named Gary with an update on when I can expect the return of over 400 Every time I ring I have to go through the situation again whilst a call handler spouts irrelevant information This money was paid a month ago in error and still no one has returned my call and told me when I can expect it refunding I have rung the office over 10 times and emailed the complaints department who have finally replied stating they can t find any record of my name post code I have little faith of getting this money back

Honestly this has to be the most incompetent company in the world They literally phone me every working day to have the same conversation with me Simple communication amongst yourselves would save us all a lot of time I ve stopped even answering their data protection questions now Idiotic company The irony of them asking data protection questions despite the amount of data protection breaches they make is staggering People need to stop paying them and force them to sell the debts to reputable legal companies

I am not a customer of this company yet they constantly harass me with spam calls every single day Despite calling them and requesting they remove my number since I am not affiliated with them in any way they claimed they do not have my number However they continue to call me as evidenced by calls today from 01903919812 and 01903919813 If they employ such relentless and unethical tactics against individuals who have no connection to them one can only imagine the treatment their actual customers must endure I left my number AGAIN as reference number so you can fix your systems one day

This company manners unbelievable sending out message saying time to pay when the company there wanting the money for virgin virgin was padded before I cut the contact but Virgin taking the crafty way out and got this company in a bit nicer like lowell
