Mixed experience with coffeeitalia

Mixed experience with coffeeitalia - ordered an espresso machine and grinder - both were shipped together but with the grinder upside down so the bean hopper was crushed The espresso machine tank was also cracked in the base and therefore unusable It took 6 weeks for replacement water tank and hopper to be dispatched and only after multiple emails and a complaint but at least the items are now functional

Long delay on repair of faulty machine

Coffee machine that cost us 1500 stopped working within the 2 year warrenty It s been with the cafe italia engineers for 6 weeks now and not even looked at They tell us they re so busy they don t even know when it will be looked at Customer services say they cannot help Emails not replied to Edited to add Following this review caffe italia promptly fixed the coffee machine and have provided us with a 1 year warrenty on the new parts In exchange we agreed to improve our review on trust pilot Disappointing that it takes a bad review to make things happen

Bad communication Be ready to wait

First about the positives There s been only one - the price The negatives - communication and dispatch time were simply BAD Imagine you order some expensive gear which appears to be in stock and five days after there s still nothing in your email No tracking number no status update You send an email to ask what s going on - nothing in return You send a msg via facebook page - nothing again Eventually you call choose the SUPPORT department leave a message - no one bothers to reply or call back Eventually you call their SALES department and bingo someone replies Two weeks after placing your order they tell you that some part of the order is missing but the then next week all will be dispatched Comes Friday following week and no emails You have to call again they promise to dispatch early NEXT week Comes next week yet no dispatch info You call the SALES department again and yet they are not happy that you re bothering them Seriously Eventually they dispatch three weeks after the order s been made and paid Once the boxes arrive you realise that they had also graciously complemented the TWO devices worth 2 000eur in total with ONE UK plug adapter Thanks so much I am most flattered I can totally understand you guys may have logistical issues and what not but it doesn t take much effort to communicate those issues properly to avoid frustration And yeah each device deserves an adapter

great machine and definitely lowest

great machine and definitely lowest price It took a week for delivery straight out of Italy though and understood from the Logistics contact Matteo they are in the middle of a new logistics system so that the communication track trace is a bit manual mode emails at the moment No big deal though and I hope they have their system automated up and running soon so that also the communication is bringing them to 5 stars Meanwhile I enjoy super espresso from the Rancilio Silvia latest Edition

Satisfied customer

On delivery the water tank was broken after sending photos of the broken tank satisfiedit took two weeks for the replacement to arrive Having had a KitchenAid previously I was pleased to see how well the Giggia performs It heats up quickly and has a handy auto switch off The steamer works very well but I feel it could do with having a slightly larger radius to swing away from the machine I am very happy with my purchase and feel it is well worth the price

Excellent Products and Services

I recently ordered a Nuova Simonelli Oscar ll espresso machine from Coffeeitalia It was a company purchase so VAT information was important The guys at Coffeeitalia couldn t have been more helpful Excellent communication and our machine arrived in a speedy fashon and exceptionally packaged We are now a small business enjoying fabulous coffee off this brilliantly engineered machine Very happy indeed

Attentive Support

When our staff Coffee Machine broke the customer service was readily available and through an email exchange the machine was fixed within 24 hours of the first email Having access to someone knowledgeable about the coffee machine saved hundreds thousands of pounds for the cost of repair replacement I would have preferred a phone line directly to the maintenance department but email did work well

Great place to get your Coffee Machines

I can certainly recommend Coffee Italia They have amazing prices and definitely know what they are talking about they go straight to the source when it comes to getting the right machines from the right manufacturers Customer service was excellent communication back and forth was great Delivery took longer than expected but my coffee machine arrived is warmly received

Great Like New Coffee Machine

Our coffee machine arrived in under two weeks and worked perfectly It was in great condition contained the instruction manuals and the correct plug adapter for Ireland I deducted one star as the website implies the machine is to be delivered through Amazon and is trackable this is not the case In saying that I would order through caffe Italia again
