I ordered 2 different subscriptions One 60 for my husband who is a disabled veteran and one 30 for my active duty son I got the same item not once twice but 3 times I emailed them and they said would you rather have cheap items or quality items I said I want quality but we don t need 3 of the same items They did nothing else to fix the disappointment Canceled both subscriptions and would not suggest the company

I paid for the most expensive package they had They stated it would be stuff Bond would use It was honestly crap Not worth it at all

13 APR 2020 The club is decent for getting you some things that wouldn t typically come to mind but it is mostly first aid kits and subpar knifes I bought into the year subscription and have received the same items multiple times Do yourself a favor and just buy a first aid kit sand bags and a pocket knife on your own and save yourself the time of waiting I highly recommend reading some field manuals and just buying the things that actually come in hand Out

So this was my first crate club box and I canceled immediately after receiving My first box contained a sunglass case tactical pen and some other multi tool Did not appear to be worth the money compared to some of the other services I had high hopes but ultimately it didn t impress me or truly add value I d move along to another service

I paid 214 for my box and still haven t got it

I ve had a mixed experience with Crate Club overall I prepaid for a 1 yr subscription to the premium crate almost 2 yrs ago now after receiving quite a few really good bits of kit in the standard crate each month The 1st crate premium I received was AMAZING in both its assortment as well as quality It was a great assortment of some of the best items Gerber offers as well as a nice RFID operated pistol safe Then the 2nd crate arrived and while the 2 items in it were quality goods a nice Emerson CQC-7 pocket knife and a top end pair of Gatorz sunglasses it just wasn t the WOW factor of the 1st one I can and have sourced PLENTY of good quality blades shades and don t really need or want that stuff from an EXPENSIVE subscription service The next 2 crates weren t even worth mentioning with the exception of the emergency survival fishing spear and it got worse because they were going through their transition to the new platform when my subscription auto renewed ALWAYS read the fine print had no idea of the auto renewal until my credit card statement and the old app got shut down Long story short when I didn t receive any merchandise that I had already paid well in advance for I attempted to contact them to ask What the and was told that I couldn t be found in their system REALLY 1200 on my credit card but you have no idea who I am Obviously i was QUITE irritated That said with Marie M s help and a lot of back and forth emails i have received 2 back-to-back crates of WOW type kit again so I will say as far as the gear goes the crew at Crate Club has FULLY redeemed their reputation which is a good thing considering they are in a large part representing the military veterans community as a veteran owned and operated company and the integrity of that community DESERVES the BEST representation possible SEMPER VERITAS -JJ

So I ll start off with this would I straight up subscribe to Crate Club No however would I get this as a gift to myself or someone else Sure The thing is what saved this crate was that I pretty much got my money s exact worth out of it as the items in total ended up costing about as much as what I paid 120 and change after a discount including shipping The reason this isn t a better rating is because to my understanding this is supposed to be a bundle-type deal meaning you pay less for stuff through a subscription vs what you would pay if you bought each item on your own and this was a complaint I saw a few times before committing to trying it out I mean to be fair these items are usually included due to a partnership with the company right Especially if the subscription provider truly believes in that company s quality of goods One thing I will refute is the garbage quality of the items claim I looked up the retail value for each individual item I received and can confidently say that the sum total pretty much matched what I got and the practicality of the items received lived up to expectations One fun aspect of this experience was not knowing what to expect but I did make it a point not to let my hopes get too high in case I was in for a disappointment At the end of the day I don t see this as a 5 star nor a 1 star box but rather a middle-of-the-road box where you simply get what you pay for

This is the first and only box subscription I have ever done and I subscribed last year for my husbands birthday as a gift to him We got the cheapest box so the materials received were smal trinkets that we re neat to have however we both expected something bigger Not too impressive My rookie mistake was not realizing that it automatically sets you up for auto renewal I didn t receive any warning email or notification of the upcoming renewal I found out by noticing a 219 charge on my credit card I tried logging into my account with my password that I know it was but was denied 3-4 times and the renew my password link wouldn t work so I emailed them about it I claimed my mistake and asked for a refund They were very nice they reset my password and stopped the subscription but said it would take up to 2 weeks to deliver a refund because it has to be approved by some committee I was patient and waited almost 3 weeks with no response and emailed them again they were extremely nice but received no answers other than they will check on it A week later a month after the first email I finally emailed them a little more aggressively however professionally and 4-5 days later finally received my refund So moral of the story I now know that a box subscription is a full commitment you have to stay ahead of and that it s a huge process to get refunds

I was not impressed with the products offered by Crate Club It promises gear used by military elite and yet I received ball caps beer cozies and bags for eyepro I was expecting much cooler items from boxes prepared by elite soldiers However when I emailed saying I was unable to cancel in time to avoid a 200 renewal due to NTC Marie from Crate Club immediately responded and put in a request to have my money refunded I am a sucker for customer service and hers was exceptional Thank you Marie

Bought as a gift for somebody don t bother with the smaller packages Seem kind of wimpy for what the cost is maybe the bigger ones are more substantial Some items useful looking forward to using them when the zombie apocalypse happens Went to site on 2 different occasions had hard time locating how to cancel But miraculously found chat today Maybe didn t see this option before since it was always later in the evening when I looked But Ivy was super helpful and made everything quick and painless
