My father has cancer must care for dad hasn t been well informed that must provide proof of this shame on you hardship of this is painful yet alone proof of father s treatment and schedule was asked for documents shame love to see refunds returned to me without proof of family members struggling to be proved with doctors certificate as unavailable and provide probably die in the future please try to make sure that you ask Proper questions about family members struggling PS I love tickets etc

Had to relay almost my husband s whole medical history to get our refund back That s why we purchased the insurance on his airline ticket in case something happened and it did and now he s going to have a long recovery to go through too

Not smooth sailing but ended well

I booked the tickets then due to ill health and injury of a person within the holiday group it was decided the best option was to be taken to the airport by car I thought the process would ve been more straightforward when I requested a refund due to the reasons However I was requested multiple times to provide the same documents Gave me the impression that colleagues within Stansted Express were not talking to each other However I have to say customer services and the different departments I spoke to within Stansted Express were extremely helpful friendly and accommodating It s just the process took far too long and it should ve been extremely straightforward I feel I ve now received my refund but this has been after quite a lot of stress anxiety and frustration

Refund form hard to find at first there was no link on the Chicago Marathon website Further the document upload section doesn t show a history of all documents uploaded rather just the most recent Nor does it allow you to click on the file you upload

Unfriendly staff response

I put in my reason for not attending the concert and requested the refund Sarah from the refund team responded and her response was passive aggressive and judgmental I explained that my reasoning was an unforeseeable circumstance that was out of my control She then stated I could only receive half of the amount I originally paid I would fight until I had the whole refund but honestly I ve been wasting my time and was waiting ages for a response

For the money I ve paid for a refundable ticket I strongly feel it should be a one click process I also can t believe the full amount wasn t refunded

It s very complicated to get a refund even if you pay normaly went a service is charged it s easier and without administrative things here it s not the case
