The person who came to do the snagging survey was lovely and I have no doubt he carried it out diligently However it s been almost two weeks since the survey and I still haven t received the report I tried calling the company 3 times first time was a week ago and each time I was told that my case is set as high priority and someone will be calling me back within half an hour Nobody did Worst spent 350 ever update So after me calling three times sending an email and writing this review I got the snagging report The lack of communication is still shocking

Professional Snagging Service

If you would like to use this professional snagging service please see my experience as below 1 over 2 hours late they will message you in the morning because traffic but this is normal and regular and they can manage it easier 2 Window handle with dent no check and reported before site manager said require replace it it s easy to find 3 No check loft insulation even he said he has all tools in his car I used ladder to check and no insulation 4 1 30 hours completed with his lunch break5 next day before 10pm report guarantee nothing and require message them next day morning 6 No sticker for each issues7 I open garage door and he just use 1 minute and say ok no problem feel no detail to check 8 say 5 years snagging experience and quite not detail9 I used another snagging service again and found 198 issues compare they found 93 onlyI can share this service experience if you need Update - 4 August Basically I don t need to use my experience as your service for refund because that s my choice before Basically I don t need you refund to me So why you request me to share the another snagging report to you within 24 hours and you can refund Are you threaten me This is my experience to use your bad service and share with others If you are not accepted someone to give 1 star Then you may close your business Again why I need to share another snagging report to you You didn t mention what s your purpose BTW don t think refund term is so happy for everyone and must follow your instruction This is my experience and share to others No bad mouth No Lie Truth experience

Awful company

Awful company avoid at all costs Company lists all the checks that it will conduct however gives themselves a caveat that on the day due to human error things will be missed and you will have no recourse for challenge We have identified a few serious problems that should have been checked in the inspection that weren t when raising a complaint to the company they were both rude and threatening If you want someone to come out spot paint blemishes then come here if you want any kind of serious inspection then avoid at all cost Edit To provide context to the vendors reply snags identified were almost exclusively paint touch ups What wasn t identified that was promised on the website were Kitchen cupboards and countertops defective and scratchesFlooring markedEn-suite bathroom incorrectly plumbed resulting in the toilet not working the sick and bathtub not drainingRoof tiles not correctly fittedRoof missing fillerGarage doors not fitted correctlyGarage doors dented and damagedGarage roof not sealed correctlyFurthermore I d counsel prospective customers to check other review websites for further information

Awful company - Do not use

Update do not believe some of the good reviews if you write a bad review they offer you money to change your review to a good one or remove it Awful company Do not use Used this company for my new property and the whole experience was awful They missed loads of issues that I spotted and I advised the inspector about when first greeted They missed things like window safety catches not catching drain covers not secured cement all over window glass and frames weep vents cemented over doors not closing properly leaking radiator and many more They concentrated on the cosmetic issues which are not problems I reported all of the issues which they replied we are only humans we can miss things and pointed me to the T Cs which the first one reads they are not responsible if they miss anything Awful company

Positive Reviews are Misleading

This company were awful

This company were unbelievably unprofessional and the responses I got were beyond rude The company agreed to pick up the keys prior to the survey and then refused to on the day claiming the estate agents were shut I rang the company everyday for over a week with no one getting back to me and eventually after more rude messages I managed to get half of the money back despite them never stepping foot in the property Do not use

Not a complete service Good for minor snags

I paid for this service and was pleased to receive a report back the next day and within the time promised I was very happy with what I thought was a good service that identified some minor snags Upon moving into my property the thermostat in one of my rooms did not work at any point and the wall had to be cut into to fix it the walls were not plastered evenly and did not meet standards including the fact the plaster board joints were visible I was extremely unhappy and this has been an ongoing issue since moving over a month ago I ve had workmen in and out doing various jobs since moving I could ve avoided this if these were identified in the report I emailed Snag My New Home with no response Not money well spent

Only use on 1 bed flats nothing more

Even though many issues were found I felt like the session was rushed If you take a look on their website they provide a list of items that would be checked Unfortunately either the guy forgot or was not aware of the list of items to be checked several were skipped There were also instances where he checked something and said it was ok however after I pointed out potential issues he said yes your right I will add it to the list He did find issues which I would never have found which is a plus however I definitely had to go over everything my self and amended the list he gave me to added several more items he missed or didn t bother to check For reference I purchased a 1 bed flat I would not have trusted this company to snag an entire house with multiple bedrooms Do I think it is worth the money Probably not the 350 I paid but somewhere around the 200 mark is more reasonable for the length of time spent If the snagger followed the list on their website to the letter and took pictures of all the things they checked regardless of whether any issues existed or not I would happily pay 450 For reference other companies would take pictures of all areas that were checked not just the ones where an issue was identified Finally as others have said they do offer an Amazon gift card for a 5 review I think this should be changed to receiving a gift card for all reviews not just for 5 ones It would be difficult for them to receive honest feedback from all jobs if there is a financial reward

Key areas not inspected - READ T C s Key areas not inspected and poor follow up serviceRequested the snag inspection all organisation of the inspection started well with a very efficient whatsapp update service swift message replies and a large number identified due to a internal finishing job from our developers However key snags were missed due to lack of inspection of key areas of the house and was told to read T C s as some snags are expected to be missed No check at all was done to the Loft inside of the garage and garden As a result a key snag was missed in that no ducting had been installed in my loft from our upstairs shower Had it not been for an issue with an extractor fan God knows when this would have been identified as we trusted a thorough job had been done by professionals The loft area is listed on their website as part of the inspection survey When I made the team aware of this and asked for the report to be overall snagging report to be updated to take back to developers aka completing part of the job for them by taking the photos and offering to send this to them I was met with hostility and the same tired excuse that has been used throughout other non - 5 star reviews here that snags will be missed but it says nothing about not inspecting key areas such as the loft or not carrying out thermal inspections Additionally stating you will not be updating the report although you offer this your website is very disappointing Worth looking at alternative snaggers even if it means waiting slightly longer

Found 170 odd snags

Found 170 odd snags some of which I never would have found myself so that s positive and I am glad I went through with the service However I have two grumbles 1 no thermal imaging given I paid 480 I feel this should have been included I have since discovered a number of thermal issues which I would have expected to be picked up as part of the snagging I may have more but can t be sure and will have to pay someone else to come and check 2 labelling of snagsThe labelling of the snags was not great and I am confused about where the snags actually are I have 4 bedrooms and these were just labelled with a number rather than their position Where snags were picked up out of the order that the snagging was done in where I pointed some out a location was not added to the description which then makes it hard to identify where it is actually located This has led to both myself and the developer being confused My feedback is to ensure that you label the room location in the description of all snags Update the rooms are definitely not labelled against each snag Only the first snag for a particular room is which as I have explained makes it confusing when reading the report This is not my opinion but a fact and is my feedback I contacted you via WhatsApp about this review and you have said I am trying to defend myself about it and say I am the first person to say this I am not looked at a couple of reviews on Google and another person has written similar Even if I am the first person to say this take my feedback on board because it gets really frustrating when trying to read the report and having to look for one room label out of 170 records because the other snags in the room aren t labelled with the room Also what could I possibly have to defend myself for I provided constructive feedback on how the snags are labelled and stated what would make it clearer
