Easy to book and superb customer service when completion changed and we needed a new date On time personable and great at explaining what they had found Sadly missing 18 nails sticking through the stairs resulting in injury nails on the drive resulting in a puncture and some other more minor issues undermined what looked to be a great service for us We did get in touch with them Pointing to T Cs saying they can miss snags would normally be fair for minor points but for us we feel short changed given the severity of what was missed Offering to add the snags to the report is not enough and the use of the T C provision looks unreasonable and an over-reliance that would not stand up legally Redrow accepted the snags and immediately got on it given their severity Given the other views we can see this is a good company but here they had an off day

The inspection was easy to arrange with good communications and engagement The report took a few hours longer to be issued than the advertised within 24hours Overall we were disappointed as it did not refer to or reference compliance or not with NHBC standards It did not pick up or report on some defects identified earlier the same day by David Wilson s Snagging Team Its focus was on minor decorative items but it did highlight some practical plumbing issues that we were not aware of

At the time the person doing the survey seemed very thorough but we have found many snags since although admittedly relatively small What really disappointed me was to be offered an Amazon voucher for a 5 star review That s completely out of order and I can only warn everyone not to trust the 5 star reviews

The things that really stood out to me were that the booking process online was quick and easy there is a Whatsapp chat provided that I found helpful to use to check things the report comes back quickly by evening the following working day and they were able to accommodate collecting the keys directly from the agency and dropping them back which was essential for me I did not have any direct contact with the snagging surveyor but the report was laid out in a clear straightforward way with good pictures and seemed thorough The only thing that could be improved for me would be including a summary of all the booking information I entered on both the booking confirmation email and order information page on the website as it didn t display the contact details of the agency that I d entered - this made me a bit anxious about whether the keys would be collected successfully as nothing was confirmed with the agency ahead of the day except by me but in the end it was fine Overall I would definitely recommend them

I had a Snagging Survey done on my first new build home and chanced upon this company with positive reviews It was very quick and easy to book the inspection with whatsapp used as an extra quick way for any communication I m only knocking off 1 star due to the fact I wasn t fully informed on the day of the Snagging Survey that was taking place by Mo the inspector - I had to enquire the Developers if my Snagging Surveyor was on site which they confirmed they were Additionally I didn t receive any notification on the day it was completed or when I would be updated with the report So in all honesty felt a little bit in the dark and would have been nice to be updated during the process - pre and post survey However I had to be positive that the company or Mo would let me know the next day at least Again I didn t receive any updates during the whole day until 5pm when I decided to contact the company to check the progress report and this was when I eventually did get a return call from Mo After receiving the Report later in the evening I was very surprised on the amount of defects snags that were identified - definitely more than half that I initially assessed It was also great to see the photos and arrows pinpointing the areas of issues So with that being said I thought the snags identified were thorough and can only say there should be some improvement with the communication service process notifications as outlined above Otherwise happy to have got this snagging done - many thanks

The booking process was easy the response via whatsapp very fast the surveyor Kevin was professional We only had a minor issue relatively late notice of changed time - but it was because of unforeseen circumstances and did not result in a delay but for that reason I knocked off 1 star form what was otherwise 5 star service The report was detailed and to a very good standard There was a minor technical issue with the report some missing pictures that was quickly rectified All in all I would definitely recommend as the booking process is easy the standards were very good and definitely something you should do before completion on a new build

I ve moved into a new property have been compiling a snag list but struggling to get the developers to take me seriously put some manpower into resolving the issues It was suggested to me I get a snagging report done as that may add gravitas to the situation and get the developer to act in a holistic way as opposed to the adhoc way they tackle issues currently The process of booking the survey the person attending as agreed was seamless and I now have the report albeit it a day later than expected Therefore my only observation was when I booked the appointment provided details of the property I told them it was a duplex apartment but I got a message after the fact stating that they consider it a house so I had to pay 49 extra before they would release the report

Excellent communication throughout brilliant having the whats app chat and always reply first thing in morning or late at night Report very handy with the images attached Would recommend

I managed to book snag my new home a week before he came He did a great job going through the house was very thorough and was very fair I understand he is a neutral party being fair to myself and the developer Still having the high standards of what the developer should be at Founds a lot of snags and the developer is slowly doing them
