southern water got it right
sat 11th February water went off went on web site and plenty of information about problem that evening bottled water turned up yes on so many occasions they have got it wrong but this time all went well water back on 6 hrs before estimated so well done southern water

Big water leak
Big water leak Mud and darkness I called them A guy was there in two hours I go there today expecting a lynch mob of neighbours I drive past the leak no water I think right they have switched it off but no way have they fixed it a neighbour walks past all done wizards mate people with special forces

Staff extremely helpful
We recently bought a house that had in the past been used as a guest house but planning permission had been obtained to turn it back into residential When we bought it as our main home the water company was commercial and we needed to change the water rates to domestic This was not an easy task as the commercial company could not accept that what had been a business had become a private residence without a lot of construction work - but no changes were needed to the building at all as it was a house and some of the bedrooms had been let out to guests so no structural alterations were needed of any kind I have to say that South East Water were superb in dealing with the commercial company and eventually got us on to domestic water rates after many weeks of trying Kaley D was particularly helpful right from the very first phone call up to the time when we had been changed from commercial water to domestic and even once the account had been set up she rang to see that all was well I have found everyone at the company very helpful and when I had to call to set up a new Direct Debit it was all done very smoothly and in a very friendly manner So I would certainly recommend the company

I got behind with my payments and did
I got behind with my payments and did the silly thing of ignoring it but I ended up speaking to a lovely lady who was so understanding and helped me out to get my bill back on track really glad I finally addressed the situation

Highly efficient and friendly
Highly efficient and friendly I have had to call a few times this year for my own account and after my mother passed away They have always been very efficient and friendly and nothing is too much trouble I spoke to a very helpful lady called Danni today Keep up the good work

Asking for advice
I rang to discuss registration for priority service as my husband has commenced home renal dialysis My call to customer service was answered by Alison who was superb Alison was very supportive and provided me with information which she is following up with a letter Also as we may have a possible leak she is discussing this with the correct department tomorrow Certainly Alison has shown that even a large company such as South East Water has at its grass roots dependable positive and supportive customer care

Brilliant customer service and efficient
Just called up South East Water to enquire about access to my external stopcock for some upcoming plumbing works Firstly I submitted an only form and got a call back within 30 minutes which I unfortunately missed but called the company and was put through to Connor who was exceptionally polite and helpful He put me through to a Lauren in the technical team who again was very polite and efficient and getting me booked in for an appointment for the technician to come out to check the external stopcock Really brilliant customer service I was very pleased

I requested for water connection
I requested for water connection 5 star service for sending quote 5 star service for sending all documentation required for sorting out water connection 1 star for lack of installers Informed give 20 working days to check what is required for connection incase highway management Well no Highway Management needed hence swift installation Paid 16th May and still today waiting on a date from the water connection installation team The customer service keep sending emails to the installation team but do not have a contact number Nothing is happening They only have 2 installation companies - is that fair No choice but to wait for SouthEast Water only co provide so do not care MONOPOLY

Had to give 1 star to leave this review 3 consecutive days of hot weather and 2 consecutive days of interrupted supply Now I m hoping for no more hot weather Every year there are problems Decades of inadequate investment No one listens No one does anything to improve the situation The website says the hot weather has led to higher demand in other words higher demand was foreseeable and this has effected the boosters which means the pumps cannot pump water to our homes so why not get better more boosters backup pumps etc etc Some people are clearly being paid a lot of money for not being able to properly carry out their roles
