I ve had CenturyLink for a long time
I ve had CenturyLink for a long time Price hasn t changed and my service does what I need it to do I m writing this review because I have found myself in a time of financial distress I haven t had financial problems in many years but this year has definitely put on the pressure I had to cancel my service due to lack of money and owed CenturyLink one more payment which I honestly don t have My final bill was waved and companies typically just don t give a anymore I am greatful for this gesture of relief and wanted to share my experience I will forever be a loyal customer to CenturyLink for offering up this payment on there end in my time of need And thank you Dameris for your exceptional customer service and attitude I am greatful Often people forget to share the great experiences they have with companies Thank you CenturyLink

Long term customer leaves their competition in the dust
Every time I switch from Centurylink to another provider in town I immediately find out how spoiled I was with them It has been years since I switched back for the last time and the excellent service continues We recently upgraded to 1Gbps over fiber of course and couldn t be happier We are being charged 125 for 1Gbps Their customer support is fantastic and their maintainence guys always get the job done The best part no cramming on the bills Same bill every month What they say they will charge you is what you pay Also they support the La Crosse WI community with jobs and philanthropy Can t ask for a better internet company

Horrible customer service Avoid this company like the plague Overseas tech support is like talking to parrots They repeat back everything you say but are incompetent when it comes to actually fixing anything tech related

Customer service is in India Hard to understand representative when calling about service issue At end of two hour call tried to sell us 200 modem If you don t have technical knowledge ask friend or neighbor for help

Internet quit working
Internet quit working No customer service Chat wouldn t work Tried calling Still on hold over an hour Tried texting while on hold Got someone They said they needed to verify my address to make sure they are on the right account After I gave it they quit texting I asked if anyone was there No reply Customer service is non existent I wonder if there are any internet providers with decent customer service

Disabled Sr Citizen has no phone service not even 911 for 5 days now
I am a disabled senior citizen with only one phone - a landline thru inept CenturyLink I have been without phone service for what is now 5 days Their online virtual Chat is totally useless I spoke with 4 of their what I assume are overseas call center reps for this company and have gotten lied to by each of them as to what the problem is and when it will be fixed I cannot call 911 if I need them Hatred is too weak a word for what I feel for CenturyLink

Centurylink The WORST
This is the saddest excuse for phone service I have ever experienced Third world countries offer better service Four times in a year without any payment problems they have shut landline service off so that it rings for the caller but no ring is heard Most dangerous part is no 911 access No outgoing Their workers are liars Run from these mutts

Go somewhere else
Centurylink was a great add for when I needed internet Seemless instalation and great service for the first year After a year Centurylink emailed that they were merging with Quantom Fiber The email stated that if you do nothing you acknowledge the switch of companies and your account would transfer to the new company The day before Thanksgiving my internet went out It was impossible to speak to anyone at Centurylink for 2 days Ruined my football experience for Thanksgiving and was inconvenient otherwise Quantom Fiber was available to talk to though they stated that my internet was not scheduled to be transferred for 13 days Q F said it was a C L issue and I needed them to fix it Finally after a dozen or more calls spent over 3 days to the C L automated chat roulette their final representative that I spoke to told me because I have high quality internet that my account was passed to Q F They said there was nothing else they can do and to call Q F Regardless this is a horrible example of poor customer service In the end I wouldn t EVER use century link not even to clean my toilets
