Really quite fed up
Really quite fed up you take the local ATM out at both the Newcomb and Leopold plaza because you want a cashless society and now the E-banking is always down Seriously the worst bank If you re not already with BB don t Please for your sake try literally any other bank this ones getting worse and worse every year

Caveat Emptor The Little bank with Big hidden fees
Caveat EmptorCheck out all the fine print that Bendigo doesn t tell you about One grubby disgusting fee they have is if you place an international order using their MasterCard debit card not only do they give a dud exchange rate and take a slice of the action but the little bank with big fees also charges another percentage on top Getting slugged an exchange rate where the AUD is almost half a USD is a bit over the top I ve cancelled my card with Bendigo and encourage all clients of the bank to have a very close look at your statements

DO NOT take out a home loan with Bendigo Bank We sold our house recently and wanted to access the deposit money OUR MONEY for some personal requirements Bendigo REFUSED to release our money even though the vendor agreed to sign the Section 27 We are now going through AFCA the industry ombudsman to try and resolve it Bendigo s excuse what if the vendor can t settle Ridiculous

Horrendous I would rather have teeth pulled Inept and obstructive Initially seemed okay but then the ground shifts and agreed actions not followed up on Process not streamlined and doesn t understand the documents sent asks for other documents inconsistent with what is required because they haven t looked properly at what was sent

Was a customer from 2008 to May 22 2024 16 years best decision I have made When you give feedback complaint or ask of anything the whole brand and branches put you through excessive hoops and so much difficulty in getting a response or obtaining a loan other than home loan To anyone wanting to take their business to bendigo don t Bank Australia or other credit community co op would be better I felt since early 2020 just before covid service has gone down and overall the bank puts you through so many hoops and headaches even worse than big 4

AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COST I was getting a home loan from them The consultant Naomi made primary-school-student mistakes like calculating monthly income by weekly income times four should be 4 3 like sending me forms prefilled with other customer s details I had to correct these mistakes and this hurt her ego From then on she refused to tell me the progress of the loan When it was only a week before the settlement deadline she still refused to tell me when the loan could be approved My conveyor contacted the seller to postpone the settlement but was refused so I was about to lose my 100K deposit and the house I called more than 70 times sent 47 emails but she just refused to say a word about when it can be approved In the last few days before the settlement the bank made countless mistakes such as telling me a valuer had been booked but in fact they hadn t I had to call multiple times to check the status and push them to proceed one step forward They always promised that the responsible person would call back but they never did Eventually the load was approved TWO DAYS BEFORE THE SETTLEMENT only due to my 70 calls and 47 emails Naomi never told me a word about when it could be approved She obviously took pleasure in seeing me pulling my hairs off I made a complaint afterwards with proof of all the mistakes and mishandling but the bank refused to say a word of apology An absolutely sick person and a dysfunctional and extremely arrogant organization They should not be allowed to operate If I can wind back the time I would pay 1000 just to avoid this bank I immediately refinanced all my loans away from them

WHERE S THE ZERO STAR RATING FOR THIS BANK Not only has this bank quite publicly gloated about how many millions billions in profit they ve cashed in on for shareholders in this last month alone They have the audacity to inform me that because it was the weekend any deposits either via e-banking or atm will not be processed till the next business day Ummm it s now mid-morning Monday 21 10 2024 I m STILL waiting for them to get their proverbial doo-doo together If we could go back to the days of receiving our wages in an envelope from our employer then I m pretty sure the majority of these USELESS BANKS would become obsolete Their customer service reps are arrogant and rude who obviously hate their job In this past fortnight there has been x2 outages that have rendered e-banking totally useless Better yet try going into an actual branch like say Cobram the staff there look absolutely miserable not a smile to be seen they talk in mono-tones no feelings whatsoever time for this cow-girl to start looking around for a better alternative me thinks

The Bank who doesn t care about the customer
Bendigo Bank and its online app are nothing short of appalling There are next to zero branches and if you want to speak to someone on the phone put your whole morning aside because they take well over an hour to answer your call The banking app is next to useless and I would say it is the worst app that I have ever used The customer experience with Bendigo Bank is terrible to the point where I have stopped using them all together They have cut costs so badly that they have totally forgotten that they are supposed to be a bank
