Cleaning good Possible hidden fees

Cleaning was good although the cleaner didn t understand all my requests At first I was charged a hidden cancellation fee when I cancelled the service They refunded when I contacted them about it Their scheduling system is not very flexible but customer support is very responsive to help rescheduling

Our cleaner is very good and reliable The cost is very reasonable Communication with Gleam can be a bit slow and it would be a easier if you could use an app to see upcoming cleans change date etc

Risky compared to others

Cleaner was great on time good service 24h email notificationNo app only website - you need to have at least 20 bookings or you ll pay cancellation fee and there was no warning when you subscribing so risks are high- any communication via chat or email slow and not very convenient- no flexibility with service if you want to change time or go on holiday - one-appointment cancellation is 48h which is twice longer compared to other services - 3h service is minimum which is too much for 1 bedroom apartment

Call me twice a day trying to sell me

Call me twice a day trying to sell me their premium service they withhold their number so I can t block the calls I already answered once and told them I wasn t interested and yet they keep calling everyday as though if they annoy me as much as possible I ll give in and give them money to come to my house Baffling update As per below it seems I have been removed from the call list so I have reflected by increasing my review from 1 to 3 stars because I do appreciate that 1 star reviews can cause damage to a business and this was a case of intrusive and unsolicited sales rather than negligent service However it is not my responsibility to respond to a sales promotion by a company I said I wasnt interested on the phone but said it was fine to send me an email with the details I have checked the email and it said to contact them if i wanted a call back which I didnt Calls to my phone began again during working hours on the 24th at least once a day mostly twice a day until I left this review If I declined the call they would immediately try to call me again The below response is not absolution from such aggressive sales tactics it also implies I am not being sold something It is very much a sales process because the free premium service offer is on top of the usual rate I am still being asked to book and purchase a cleaning service I am being offered this because I was a customer very briefly many years ago and being offered a premium add-on for free the service appears to be some kind of bespoke cleaner matching service so you only get the good cleaners as opposed to the normal cleaners everyone else gets is the implication here

Great booking website really good cleaner

We had a lovely cleaner who made lots of effort our flat was smelling great after she had been Nice and friendly definitely going to request for the same lady next time

Efficient booking service and a decent clean

Efficient booking service helps with people being busy and it is also flexible as I ve had to cancel rearrange a couple of times The cleaner is great and does a stand up job

Updated Customer service helped

Update Gleam have sorted this problem and come back to me with a solution I am now happy to recommend them for future services The cleaner we got was brilliant and we would love to her her back again But the customer service has been terrible I booked a one-off clean cleaner brilliant on-time and very efficient and all went fine Then to my surprise the company have arranged an ongoing weekly cleaning service which is unwanted and when I emailed to tell them they have made a mistake the response was a cheery nope sorry if you want to cancel you ll need to pay an extra 11 Since then they is a refusal to answer any of my follow up emails Avoid

My cleaner is great and does a thorough job The customer sercice is great when o want to changes days etc My only bug bear is I can t book for half hours as my flat only really needs 2 5hrs not 3 But other than that amazing

Very pleased

My cleaner arrived slightly late but totally made up for it by putting in her heart and soul into the job She worked diligently to make both the kitchen and bathroom sparkle Gleam is easy to book and very convenient I totally recommend it

I am so extremely happy with my cleaner She is the best trustworthy reliable thorough just like my mum would clean booking service also very convenient despite a bit of a delay at the start to find a suitable recurring appointment Very satisfied and would highly recommend
