Cancellation fee

If you re looking to try this service with a recurring booking there is a minimum of 20 bookings required before you can cancel for free otherwise you pay 45 This of course could have been indicated in the sign up journey or faq not just as a reference line to T Cs but fair play Not very high quality had to cancel my bookings glad to have finalised with this company

I would give 0 if I could Disgusting service - cleaner did not do a single thing left early Furthermore after both myself and my partner complaining I ve had no response from Gleam cleaning I am shocked the reviews are positive for this company

Does not uphold the promise of being reliable convenient - quite the opposite in fact We signed up for the weekly clean service one of the cleaners who came clearly have never made a bed before then decided to leave early Gleam quickly ran out of cleaners as we started getting stood up week after week which is wild especially with a small child at home gets dirty messy quickly We ve cancelled all our future appointments and will not be coming back

UNRELIABLE - NOT TO BE TRUSTED - NOT TO BE BOOKEDGleam Cleaning where do I begin Deceitful from the top down their management is like a tangled web of lies The cleaners they send are rookies There s a revolving door of cleaners at Gleam It s because they pay them badly well below the minimum wage Gleam Cleaning is a nightmare you wouldn t wish on your worst enemy let alone invite into your home If you value your sanity and the cleanliness of your space steer clear of this cleaning calamity Your home deserves better than Gleam Cleaning s deception and incompetence Worst company I have ever come across Very litigious to avoid responsibilities

DO NOT USE GLEAM

We had absolutely horrible service from this company do not use them We booked their Specialist service for an end of tenancy clean Given Gleam s response below I would really like to emphasise that we used GLEAM S OWN RECOMMENDATION of 1 hour per room and even added extra time on to be safe Firstly the cleaner turned up an hour later than booked with no communication making us late for work Then right after we moved out we had an independent checkout report which commented on the terrible state of the cleaning service provided The oven was in a shocking state there were streaks all over the sink and the hob and the shower didn t look like it had been cleaned at all The communication from the company since has also been terrible telling us we have to pay for the cleaner to come back and complete the job we already paid for DO NOT USE

DO NOT BOOKBooked my first clean with Gleam on Friday 1 hour in no comms no one turns up I try and ring Gleam but couldn t get through - they finally responded to my email confirming nobody is showing and they would like to offer me their premium service no discount or free hours Premium service entails handpicking their top-rated cleaners Booked for the following working day for the same to occur again Copy and paste of the same message no way of getting hold of someone on the phone Totally unreliable and would never use

Unreliable no customer service

You can hardly call this a cleaning service as they don t fulfil any appointments I booked a one-off clean with the view of booking them regularly The cleaner didn t turn up and I received an email 1 5 hours after the appointment start time They are extremely unresponsive and couldn t reschedule the appointment until 2 weeks later They also don t have a direct line that customers can call Customer service is non existent I would suggest taking your business elsewhere

Rubbish service - don t use them

Rubbish serviceFirst booking and no one has turned up - there has been no confirmation email in advance and no text email to say anyone is running late even coming What a botch job Making matters worse they have no phone contact number to try and get hold of anyone

Terrible experience Worse customer service

Terrible experience with cleaner and no response from company when asking to cancel all future cleaning services No phone number No live chat No way of reaching anyone other than a contact us form which doesn t get a response Worst cleaning experience in London Do not use
