The cleaner did a great job and was very friendly but she showed up an hour and a half late due to a cancellation that I wasn t notified about

Easy to schedule appointments and pay but they are hard to communicate with We have had 2 cleaners and they have cleaned to a good standard although it has been hard to communicate with the cleaners themselves due to language barriers

First appointment made online got cancelled last minute by Gleam without replacement so that was unexpected incovenient as I had made plans to stay home However after I have inquired Gleam was willing to offer one free hour as compensation

The original cleaner we had was very good and thought for herself The new one does not think for herself but does a reasonable job The lack of having a number to call to get hold of the company is appalling How on earth do we report an emergency should there be one

Was skeptical when booking due to all the bad reviews concerning cancellations the day before or last minute Had booked a one off cleaning and was sent a confirmation that my cleaner was booked the day before the appointment i got an email saying the cleaning is cancelled as a cleaner could not be found I had put up a bad review on here and Gleam took action and called me and found a replacement cleaner The cleaner was excellent and I am looking to book with them for regular weekly cleans

2-3 Star really We ve had 3 different cleaners Only one was good The others adequate - lots of dirt on floors even after a hoover and a mop for instance Not v reliable either Approx 1 month gap over Xmas when no one available Quite a lot of cancellations and late shows outside of that I think i ve found much better more reliable people by just finding individuals who get all the cash on gumtree etc sorry gleam

Very good service from the booking team and convenient to pay by direct debit However the quality of the cleaning service itself is average at best and has been deteriorating Last weekend it didn t even look like the bedroom had been hoovered there was a cobweb in the corner and the kitchen counters weren t properly wiped Whether I use this service again will depend on how the team responds to this complaint

Besides cleaning - the most important thing for a cleaning service is reliability This company failed to do that due to a management error However I have to say that they hav made up for it in terms of responsiveness and client service So the second thing one needs in a cleaning service - is great customer satisfaction and care I have since had a clean and will be using Gleam Clean again

I had one Gleam clean for a regular domestic cleaning in my previous flat The cleaner arrived on time worked hard and did a great job I had no problems with them My second booking was for a specialist clean end of tenancy This is twice the price of the domestic clean 28p h for the specialist and is specifically marketed for this type of clean I provided all required materials oven degreaser cloths Viakal hoovers etc and booked a 5 hour specialist clean for my 2 bedroom flat I had the specialist clean on 5 10 22 and had already moved out of the flat so it was empty The inventory came back on 13 10 22 as being cleaned to a domestic standard and I had monies from my deposit deducted My deposit was not deducted for any other reason only the standard of cleaning I raised the issue with Gleam on 14 10 22 and they responded quickly asking for the report so I replied and attached the report as a PDF the same day Since then I haven t heard back from Gleam even though I have been following up with them to get an acknowledgement of receipt Overall I d say they are fine for a simple domestic clean but - If you need a specialist or deep clean or- If you need to get in touch with them about a problem then look elsewhere EDIT As of November 25th in spite of Gleam s comment below nobody has been in touch about any investigation Therefore I assume no investigation is actually happening I stand by my original review OK for a regular domestic clean but steer clear for a specialist clean and good luck resolving any issues

Was all ready to give this company a higher score but I booked what I believed to be a one off clean The cleaner came and did a decent job although was very slow I then get an alert one email and text 24 hours before the time the cleaner came a week earlier Alert states that the cleaner is coming again in 24 hours I contacted support to say there must be an error as I only booked a one time clean Their response Sorry you booked a recurring and if you want to cancel then there will be a 12 cancellation charge becuase it s less than 48 hours before the sheduled time date Seem unreasonable I thought especially as they have no login to your account option the website to manage cleans That s the way it works is the gist of the reply from support I asked twice for them to please drop the cancellation charge as it only seems reasonable Eventually they dropped it But I m left with a very bad taste in my mouth about Gleam now Be warned
