It may well be simple to use but setting it up in the first place is mind-numbingly complicated possibly due to poor translation Their automated help did not help It sent me in circles I lost over two hours of my life over two days all I wanted to do was set up a PIN I followed the on-screen instructions over 12 times I kept getting a fault incorrect message I have sent it back I was fast losing the will to live You have been warned

Have used Trezor for many years
Have used Trezor for many years I recently contacted their support to find out how to get a coin into wallet Followed support s advice precisely Within a week ALL THE COINS WERE DRAINED FROM MY ACCOUNT without me ever even opening up the account after the initial transfer This proves funds can be removed from the wallet WITHOUT USER HAVING TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND APPROVE just before theft Tried to get help from support once I noticed the theft Futile back-N-forth accomplishing nothing with replies to my questions often taking days This is the first big problem I ve had with them Support didn t even know about the problem I brought to their attention They never asked me for addresses associated with the transfers and theft Just hollow one-line responses--none helpful Worst of all funds can be taken out of the wallet without owner interacting with the wallet to approve it I kept records of the exchanges with support Users beware Historic wallet with lots of marketing appeal But if you get into trouble you ll likely be on your own Digital scams are EVERYWHERE and they re getting more and more sophisticated stealing BILLIONS of dollars a year from hard-working average folks Unlike the traditional financial marketplace no one at Trezor has a fiduciary or true customer service responsibility to you That might seem OK until it s not Just one scam can obliterate your life savings RESPONSE TO TREZOR S REPLY I ve used your devices since your company started doing business I m an active member of your Trezor forum And I m reasonably aware of what a hardware wallet is and how to use one I ve noticed the same tactics from hardware wallet manufacturers including Trezor whenever anyone--and there are many--posts of becoming a victim of fraud or a scam Wallet manufacturers fall back on technical assumptions about the way their wallet works without addressing the particulars of victims posts There are reports all over the web about a newer but already established scam called ice phishing during which a fraudulent smart contract is inserted among the multitude of other legitimate smart contract pages one must approve in order to perform basic functions with keys to coins tokens Because as in the case of legalese the contracts are not in clear English the user doesn t know WHAT the contract is for but may wrongly assume it s part of the multi-part smart contract the user s engaging in Where Trezor is involved the smart contract allows the crypto thieves to WITHDRAW FUNDS managed by Trezor after the key management for those funds have been transferred from a hot wallet to Trezor You claim Trezor has never being breached I and many other victims disagree And if enough people can get together to challenge Trezor other wallets and web3 designers in court the courts may disagree with you too The fact remains people s life savings are being stolen NOT BECAUSE as you commonly argue we have been careless with our devices recovery phrases PINs or PPs but because web3 scams are becoming ever more sophisticated while hot and even cold hardware wallets ARE NOT PREPARED TO DEAL WITH THE EVER-EVOLVING THREATS As Trezor adds more and more smart-contract-enabled altcoins to its walled garden like ERC20 s and the new Cardano network coins it s inevitable more scams will infiltrate wallets Again users beware Your funds can be stolen right out of your hardware wallet if you inadvertently sign a predatory but camouflaged page in a smart-contract The hardware wallet likely will NOT protect you It s in Trezor s and other wallet manufacturers best interests to present this as a case of mere user error But do your own research Crypto fraud is a GROWING multi-billion dollar industry and claims more victims each year than the previous year The wallet manufacturers won t care to help you once you ve paid for their product Yet another reason there s growing demand for better GOVERNMENT REGULATION Regulation is the only reason for bank deposit insurance and credit card fraud liability protections These TradFi industries would otherwise argue like Trezor that they re not responsible for fraud either WE NEED STRONGER REGULATION in crypto--including of product manufacturers
