Can t access an online portal because I set up my account with a rep That s outrageous for a modern company Network is also underwhelming

Customer Service

Internet seems to be fast and stable But if you have any enquiries with customer service you are done 1 week contacting them about my activation of service and they had no idea what they are doing

the installation took a year longer

the installation took a year longer then advertised once installation started Gnetworks had to come four times due to lack of toby and blockages once service installed it seems to work well

Fast Internet Slow service

After numerous delays and maybe 5 visits by G Networks staff I finally got my G Networks Fibre internet connection working a month ago The key positive is the service is fast and so far pretty reliable Router has crashed once The negatives are a much longer list but generally relate to a very poor customer service experience What perhaps should have required 2 site-visits took 5 and on the final one what should have taken 1 5 hours took 4 because the site engineers had to wait on the phone for more than an hour for their own tech team to answer On the 4th day of service my router crashed and I had to reset it but other than that the service has worked very well and of course it is wonderful and fast

The person I dealt with was very helpful and it was great to get through to a real person without much of a wait - something quite extraordinary these days However I don t think my issue has been resolved I still find the internet drops off occasionally and I think I need something like a bridge-mesh but being a technophobe am probably saying the wrong thing I am not yet satisfied with the service so your help would be appreciated

Careful with your service installation

We expected a pre-service installation from Sales for our building 5 flats as we are having restoration work done When the G people showed up it was just to connect the one flat to service and not do the cabling for the whole building When I complained to the person responsible for installation she said G no longer pre-cables buildings So there is a disconnect between Sales and Installation Sales are overpromising It took half a day to sort out and our builders had to help out as there were just 2 people from G to cable the building The technology is great though once installed No complaints there

Leon 07 took care of my installation and he is a real professional Very tidy and respectful I ve now entered the 21st century with proper internet Many thanksEdit Installation went great but we are a few days into the service and the internet has cut out I did contact customer services who advised me there is a loss of signal They will need to send an engineer out First appointment available in 6 days so we have no internet until then No solution offered in the interim G Network are very organised in getting you signed up and installed but the follow through is not great tbh We ll see how it goes from here

I have had a terrible experience with

I have had a terrible experience with gnetwork My network has been unstable for more than a day and I have spoken to their reception 5 times and each time they took my number and no one calls back Today chap call Chris was not nice Told me he will hang up as there is nothing he can do Ridiculous service Update on this got a very apologetic call about the service I received and they tried to make up for the poor response This is highly appreciated

Internet is great support is lacking

Internet is great Customer service is auful Chat gets closed waiting time for over an hour for technical support and when your time comes immidiate hang up Edit someone got back to me after the review and helped me solve my issues the irony was when the technician came to my house sat and chat really nice bloke had an espresso while HE was waiting for the company s technical support to answer His call

Engineer 5 stars admin 1

I would like to give a glowing review but cannot Because while Aaron the engineer who arrived to sort out my internet problem was wonderful - efficient polite professional - actually getting hold of G Network to talk to them about what was wrong was something else Initially I asked for a call back - that never happened Then I spent much of the next day holding and getting cut off - this must have happened at least 6 times Then the next day finally someone answered just like that He told me that the problem could be sorted on the same day and gave me a time slot for that morning But no-one came and eventually I had to go out at 6 00 p m only to discover once I had returned home that the engineer had tried to get access at 7 30 Fortunately he kindly returned the next day - and I have nothing but praise for how he sorted out what was clearly not a simple problem - he spent at least 3 hours fixing it So 5 stars for Aaron but barely 1 for the admin - it shouldn t take 3 days finally to get to talk to a real person
