I still cannot connect to MAG boxIt worked until yesterday and has been off sinceVery disappointing experience Your engineer s were working out side today I do not know know if they are done The truck is no longer therePraful

Being on G Network for a week

UPDATE Lowering my rate to two starts due to constant interruptions I ve been with them for a month and already experienced 3 outages Support number is useless they only take your number and promise a call back which never happens It takes hours for connection to come back and they never offer any explanation for what happened or how are they going to prevent that in the future they don t thats why it goes down again Glad I am on a non contract will move out to another fibre provider as soon as one becomes available in my area Previous review Being on G Network for a week very happy so far Activation went as planned got everything set up on the same day I was luckly to move in to a block of flats at the same time G Network was cabling it so there were no long waits to finish street block cabling etc

Very good speeds but keeps cutting out

Very good speeds when it works but there are service outages very frequently I would say approx 50 of the days when I use the internet for a full work day I experience at least one short outage 1-5min On occasion the outages can be longer such as multiple hours I have had a lot of inconvenience at work with important calls dropping out unexpectedly - I have learnt to warn clients and colleagues in advance on important calls i e I have unreliable internet sorry in advance for any issues Did not expect I would have to become that guy when I signed up with G Network Would help if G Network showed awareness of the issue by communicating about it and about improvement plans For example would appreciate if the company shared some uptime statistics and initiatives by which it is addressing this

Hard to get through to customer service engineer does not show up

G Network is helpful when you can actually get through to a customer service person However it seems that it s very difficult to actually get through to customer service Twice in the last week I ve had to stay on hold for 20-25 minutes only to get a receptionist who offered to take a message and have someone return my call On this most recent occasion I waited all afternoon for an engineer to show up as promised between 1 and 5 PM but nobody actually did show up When I called to get an update I was asked to leave a message so that someone to could get back to me I do hope their broadband reliability is better than their ability to answer customer service inquiries

G-NETWORK ALL PROMO PROMISES

For A company offering fibre G Network s installation rate is no more than an unimpressive 5mbps For months we were courted but once permission was given by the landlord for the connection there have been nothing but excuses for six months now little action and only promises and delays If you have the option of an alternative provider they d be a better more reliable bet than G network

Poor advice by survey engineer

Before the Wi-Fi installation when deciding on the precise location for the router the G network engineer doing the survey assured me that I would have very good Wi-Fi reception and speed in the main room of my flat if the router was installed in my bedroom the easier option for their installation team It turned out not to be the case and I now need additional boosters beacons ie additional monthly cost to get acceptable Wi-Fi speed Very disappointing that the advice I got from G network was below standard

The speed of customer service response

The speed of customer service response is extremely slow Network connection is bad can t connect to 5GHz network and no one is there to resolve the issue The coverage of the wifi can t fit the flat as well which is bad

Poor wifi performance

Installation was smooth and efficient however wifi performance very poor worse than existing provider Raised to tech support but didn t hear back Don t have time to chase Shame

Overpriced poor customer sup

It took a month and a half plus to get the wifi installed This was after many miscommunications between customer support Matthew and surveyors The people that actually come to your property are always lovely but the team that organises installations etc is disorganised and hard to work with I had to chase numerous times to be met with I ll get back to you by X and then not achieving that deadline the team set for himself The wifi itself is fast but overpriced as hell Go with a different fibre provider if you can The second hyperoptic come to my area I am switching
