Defective Disney product- help refused Do not buy if you are not from US

Bought Disney s Nightmare Before Christmas 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle from Florida Disney World Magic Kingdom Main Street Store in July 2023 Given as present in November took several weeks to complete Only at end did we realise there were missing pieces so very unhappy Pictures taken and sent to merchandise guest services to get missing pieces complete replacement or credit note Was told that as outside 30 day period and I could not take it back to US store no help would be given I live in the UK it was a present given some time later and it took a long time to get to the stage where we realised it was defective No understanding or leeway from Disney at all Dreadful quality control that it should be defective and an appalling lack of understanding from a multi-million USD company in refusing any help Do not buy from a Disney store if you are not from the US and don t want to have to travel back or your purchase is a gift and will not be checked until after 30 days

Just another bad review to add to the collection ordered x1 Home Alone Lego set was show as in stock and processed the transaction happy to take the money 5 days later still not received it but instead received an email cancelling my order saying there out of stock Hope they go bust and people shop elsewhere I should have read the reviews first but being Disney I trusted them Just avoid or be disappointed

Ordered on 8th Oct and still waiting for some items Called disney 5times 3hrs waiting talking and keep reordereding my mickey and after 4 orders then cancelled it tonight So unfortunately my baby cuz is without and customer services are obviously lying and saying order on way they give u wrong delivery tracking orders n well 3 missing mickeys Dont offer a service if you can t provide it Infact this is giving disney a bad name esp after last Yr kids were without there gifts come on 8th of Oct n now its 25th of Nov n for all the stress n hrs calling them whoop whoop u get free delivery bloody joke of a company

Avoid this company

Avoid this company Been a customer for years but since the takeover absolutely terrible and they ve lost a loyal customer Ordered in November order delayed several times then main item for a Xmas present was when cancelled Told on live chat nothing can be done and would be sent a free delivery code which I ve still not received and pointless anyway as I ll never order again from this company

Same as everyone else on here they use evri so don t expect to receive your parcel Ignore emails phone cuts off when they hear your issue Live chat disconnected after hearing your complaining Considering disney is such a massive company the services is terrible now 50 pound down and just keep getting ignored

Absolutely awful company after using

Absolutely awful company after using for years it s gone downhill Wait ages for items to be dispatched nearly a month One item wasn t any good returned it have proof nearly two months later klarna open dispute item not returned but it was they loose items in their warehouse it s happened more than once it s stressful and I m not ordering from Shop Disney anymore

Now have to buy backup Christmas gifts I have yet to receive even one of the 5 items ordered as Christmas gifts Luckily 3 of the five were more stocking stuffer type things for my kids but 2 were the only gifts I have for my sister I have no idea what is actually going on with my order as I received an email last night that one thing was now out of stock and I wouldn t be getting but another email sent said it was shipped along with one other item of the five When I log in to the site to check my order status I only see one item as already being shipped and the rest stuck in processing Doubt I will ever order from here again Very disappointing

Horrible

Horrible customer service After being on hold for hours because my bank statement said I paid twice They told me they see no payments Everytime I called customer service i got a different answer on the status of my order I received my order 4 weeks later

Followed their guidance on how to decide what size adult mask to buy Beware it s inaccurate because it doesn t take into account that the ear straps do not stretch much They are fabric with no stretch Their policy does not allow for any exchange or refund if the package is already opened Well how would I know if the masks fit unless I open the package Chalk it up to never again shopdisney com with such a ridiculous return exchange policy The silver lining is that I am donating the masks

Stock Management is atrocious

I have become completely disillusioned with ShopDisney co uk over the course of the past few orders placed with them First of these orders placed on 7 11 2023 aka Toy Tuesday most items came in albeit in separate packages and later than the expected delivery date bar one the Classic Winnie The Pooh bear valued at 26 99 but with 25 discount cost 20 24 It never came in but I received an e-mail to say that I was getting a refund for it and when I checked the order it was just Cancelled I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking it had been sold out but it s still showing as available on the website to this day As it wasn t really required I bought it on a whim I did not complain Second order placed on 17 11 2023 I ordered 3 items one item promotional gift came in fairly quickly the other two items took ages - I had actually started to think they were going the same way as Winnie and was beginning to panic but to be fair they did eventually arrive The third order was placed on the 20th November and there was a promotional offer of a free item if I spent over 75 I chose the Saludos Amigos Christmas Tree Decoration My order came in on 30 11 2023 but it appears the promotional item has been cancelled To be clear this item is still available for sale on the website at a reduced price of 11 valued at 22 at time of my order Given my previous experience with the Winnie The Pooh bear I phoned ShopDisney Customer Service to enquire about cancellations just for my own curiosity At this stage I was relieved to receive my order of Disney Castle Lego set as it is for a Christmas present and I shouldn t be concerned about the free promotional item but it s just really annoying When I phoned the lady on the phone advised that the Saludos Amigos ornament is out of stock hence the cancellation and that the website takes some time to update stock shortages She also advised that the item is now half price they can offer me free delivery if I order it again But where would be the point of ordering an item if it is out of stock and why would I pay for it when I should have received it for free She did say that if I ordered it and it came in I could possibly reach out to Customer Services again to see if they could work something out but it s not guaranteed I just received the Free Delivery code today and checked the website - the Saludos Amigos decoration is still showing as being available to order which is a joke All I can say is that apparently stock updates from Warehouse to Website are non-existent and if so ShopDisney seriously needs an overhaul especially as most physical stores are now closed down It s sad because before November I would have said that I was really happy with ShopDisney hence reason for 2 stars rather than the 1 I was initially going to leave but their technology needs a serious overhaul especially as the technical issue at the Warehouse is still ongoing after a month
